Who are you?

"How would you define love?"

That's the first question I ask anyone before considering going out with them again. I know it's too forward and almost awkward to say on a first date, but the answer matters to me.

"Huh? Emm.." She says while looking down at her half eaten plate.

"All of a sudden? Well..I guess love is when a woman wouldn't think twice before doing something for their man. If he needs help, she's there. If the woman needs help, he's there for her."
I looked at her almost blankly due to the typical, mediocre, old-fashion response.

"Did I say something wrong? Is my answer wrong?" she said while slowly touching the top part of my knuckles before quickly moving her hand away. I stared at her a bit longer just to see what she would say next.

This is almost like an experiment to me. Shock them on the first day, study their reaction..see what kind of person you're really dealing with.

"No, you said just the right thing. It's getting late. Shall we go?"

I drive her back to her place. She looks at me longingly expecting me to make a move, but I don't. She steps out of the car with her head swaying down.

"My answer was wrong..wasn't it." She says in an almost disappointing tone.

"Not wrong. Boring." I roll up my window and go on my way.

How rude of me..I didn't even get to introduce myself to you. Hi, my name is Park Jimin, but we can be informal and just call me Jiminie, I like it if you're cute with me. I make a decent living selling cars and do..other jobs on the side just to keep my life interesting.
Something you should know about me, is that I get bored. Life is so predictable, you study, get a job, find a wife or husband, have kids, get old and die.
The typical life doesn't suit me so I keep it interesting by experimenting with people.
Since now we know each other a bit better, I can let you in on my fond collection of psychology books on mind manipulation that I've read about 3 times each and have memorized the most important parts. (I've used one on you already hehe..)

Well..that's that. Let's continue shall we?

"As you can see, it has everything you would ever want in a car, perfect for long trips and even has built in touch screens in the back for the kids." I say while looking at his unsure face.

"This is tempting but way out of my budget" He takes one last look inside.

"Yes..you're right. It is a lot compared to your budget owning a car like this takes a lot of dedication and a man such as yourself sure doesn't have enough time, I usually sell these cars to powerful, top successful businesses man but I'm sure a more affordable common car would be comfortable for you sir."

He takes a long pause and looks at the car and fiddles with his wallet.
"You know what on second thought..I'll take it."
For a second I thought I lost my touch, but yet again my mind game wins him over.

"Thank you very much sir and have a wonderful afternoon."

"I don't know how you do it Jimin, please teach me your ways oh all powerful!" Taehyung says while getting down on his knees

"C'mon now it's embarrassing enough to have my brother working with me, get up." I say while picking him up by the shirt and sitting him down.

"Ah, but Hyung seriously how? I've been here for 6 months and the most I can sell in a day is two and that was your tenth today!"

Hehe..what a kid, looking at his pouty face warms my heart.

"It's not that hard, you just need manipulate their egos a bit. Study what kind of person they are, complement them, then bring their ego down a bit so they feel now they have to buy it."
He stands up from the chair and stands one inch from my face.

"Hyung..that's not very nice."

If he only knew that in this world "nice" doesn't get you anywhere..

"Anyways, I'm heading out for lunch. Do you want anything? Actually, never-mind I know you'll just want.."

"DUMPLINGS!" he screams almost falling off his chair.

"As expected. Be back in a bit."

I turn on the radio in hopes of finding an interesting station, but as usual, it's the same over played songs. I get bored of going through the stations and decide to quickly take out my phone and just play one of my playlists. But, as I reached in my front pocket, it falls in between the sit.

"Ah! Damn fingers."

As I arrive at a stop light, I take the chance to reach down and get my phone. Suddenly I hear car horns honking and out of panic I grab the phone, hit the gas and- *bump*

"Fuck. Oh shit! Oh shit! Did I.."

I get out of the car trembling preparing to see the worst. But to my surprise the person wearing all black is kneeling down holding of what I identified as a broken camera.

"Are..are you okay? Are you hurt? Do you need me to call the ambulance? I'm so sorry please. I'll take care of any medical bill." Before I could say anything else, they take one deep breath and slowly get up, revealing their masked, covered face giving me a piercing look before walking away.

"Wait. Who..who are you?"

At that point people started to gather and felt frozen at my feet. My throat closed and wasn't able to make a sound and watched helplessly as they disappear into the crowd. I look down at the broken remains of the camera and notice the strap initials, "J.JK."
