So easy for you to go about your life pretending
Pretending that everything is alright when clearly it's not
Pretending that you are this perfect when in all reality you are far from
You have somehow mastered the art of doing it with such elegance

To do what i believe in
You taught me to everything
From taking a bath to teaching a class and everything in between
So why tell me why you feel the need to intervene
Why do you feel like you are entitled to a say
Why do you feel like my life is your personal play
Why can't you just leave me alone
And allow me to be grown
Allow me to spread my wings
Without you questioning everything
