Chapter 2: New Acquaintances

Waking up the next morning, I see meowscles no longer hugging me, but sat on the edge of the bed waiting for me to get up. "Good morning, sleepyhead."
Looking at the scar on his head, I can tell he's been through a lot. Right now Id prefer to sleep.
"But I don't wanna get up.."
"Come on. Get up."
"Nooo...."
"Fine then. You'll miss out on breakfast."

"Okay I've changed my mind."
About 30 minutes later every agent met at a table. They all introduced themselves to me, and I introduced myself too.
I feel like I'll fit right in with these people... I hope.

The food was laid out like a feast. We all ate our respective meals and went back to wherever we were before.
In my case, I'm back in bed.
"I'm bored." I say, probably hoping for a response.
"Me too."
We then hear a knock on the door. It's a girl, who I recognise from the dinner table. They're wearing dark clothes with some purple on them. "MEEOWSCCLLEES!"
"What do you want, Skye?"
"Just wanted to say hi."
Then then leave.
Meowscles turns to me and says, "yeah, I have no clue either, haha."
We both shake it off as some random thing they do.
"What do you want to do now? We have a while until the next training."
"I don't know."

~No P.O.V~

He thought for a moment.....
"Hey, [Name], I got an idea!"
"Yeah, what is it?"

"Let's watch horror films."
Knowing you don't like horror movies, you would have said no at first chance, but you just can waste this opportunity to hand out with your new crush! "....fine."
"What one are we going to watch?"
"I was thinking Halloween."
You do not want to watch Halloween.
"Sure..."
(A few hours into the movie..)
You scream as a jumpscare comes on.
Climbing into meowscles arms, you don't realise what you're doing, but just don't want to watch anymore.
"I don't want to watch this anymore.. it's too scary.."
"Heh, alright then.."
He keeps you in his arms, as he puts on a more lighthearted film.
"This is better....."
He gets up, still holding you.
He pauses the film. "Hey, do you want any food yet?" You completely forgot about the breakfast.
"Yeah.. if you don't mind.."
He carries you to a sort of kitchen hidden in the grotto, with a few others there you recognise.
"Oh, hey Meowscles!" One of them shouts, rather enthusiastically.
"So, who's your new girlfriend?"
They were wearing a purple jacket, with a black hat in tow.
"She's not my girlfriend."
"Then why are you carrying her like she is?"
He puts you down on a chair, and sits next to you.
"Sorry I was late for breakfast, everyone."
"[Name], it's fine, you were right on time actually."
"Oh, really?"
"Yeah."
Food is served to everyone at the table, and they begin eating.
You eat the food too, and it's actually pretty good.
A few minutes later, meowscles carries you back to your room.
He sits next to you as you lie on the bed.
