Anxceit

Virgil~

Virgil was sitting in the kitchen, drawing in a notebook while singing the lyrics to Better Off Dead by Sleeping With Sirens.

Virgil thought that he was home alone so naturally he was singing at a normal volume and not humming or mumbling the words.

Deceit~

Deceit appears in the light house to mess with the light sides and his old dark side friend Virgil, who had gone light side and left Deceit to deal with Remus and the Orange side by himself.

Deceit hears the familiar singing as soon as he appears in the living room.

A faint smile appears on Deceit's face as he hears Virgil's beautiful singing.

He had always loved to hear Virgil singing.

Deceit walks quietly to the kitchen and stands in the doorway, watching Virgil sing and draw at the table.

Virgil was smiling. Deceit wasn't used to seeing Virgil smile anymore. Virgil never smiled when he was a dark side.

Deceit watches Virgil for awhile before seeing him start to tense up.

Why was he tensing?

Virgil~

Virgil smiled as he sang and worked on the small scales in the detailed drawing of Deceit's face.

Soon Virgil felt as if he was being watched. Was someone home? The other lights were with Thomas and Remus only shows up to mess with Roman.

So that left 2 sides.

Deceit.

Or the orange side.

Virgil prayed that it was his imagination and not one of those 2 sides.

If the orange side was here Virgil would be doomed.

If it was Deceit and Deceit sees the drawing Virgil would be embarrassed.

Virgil slowly stops singing, gripping his pencil with shaking hands. He was close to having a panic attack.

Something touches Virgil's back making Virgil flinch and cover his head on old instincts.

"Relax.... its just me.... calm down" a soothing yet snake like in a subtle way speaks calmly.

Virgil knew that voice anywhere.

Virgil breathes heavily and rapidly as he looks at the half snake with wide eyes.

"Why would you do that?!" Virgil yells, his voice going deeper since he was scared (like in the videos).

"I apologize Virgil. I truly didn't mean to" Deceit says.

Virgil takes a few deep breaths as he shoves Deceit's hand off of his back.

Deceit watches him, his eyes flicker to the sketch book.

Virgil closes the sketch book quickly and makes it disappear to his bedroom along with his headphones.

"What do you want Deceit?" Virgil asks, a bit more harsh than he intended it to be.

"I am totally not bored right now~" Deceit lies.

Virgil rolls his eyes.

"Then do something" Virgil says.

Deceit smirks, looking at Virgil.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Virgil asks as he gets up and starts to back away.

Deceit takes a step closer to Virgil and Virgil takes a step back.
