"Hey!" I said hugging her.

"Hey. I missed you. " She said looking me in the eyes. "I haven't seen you since summer started."

I laughed, "That was three days ago." I smiled at her.

She signaled for Adam to come inside. "You can come in, Adam!" She stood to the side of the door so he can walk in.

"Thanks..." He said looking forward and into the living room. "Where is your brother?" He said, his eyes traveling to the stair case.

"The basement. They're watching a football game."
Adi replied now looking over to me. Adam didn't even reply. He slipped his flip flops off and walked passed us an into the basement without another word. He shut the door and disappeared.

I turned back around to Addie...she had the biggest smile on her face. "What?" I said plainly. She didn't move one face muscle.

"There's a new boy who moved in next door yesterday..."
Her smile kind of faded but she still had a grin on her face.

"And...."

"He's down stairs."

"Okay. What's so exciting about this?..." I said having no interest.

"Chad is already friends with him, he's probably gonna be over here all the time." She now looked normal with no smirk on her face. What's the big deal?

"Is he our age?"

"He's a little bit older than us, but younger than Chad and Adam by about six months..." She paused for a few seconds. I stared at her blankly. "He's hot..." She said calmly.

I smirked. Hot boys are life.

"I'll have to meet him soon!" I laughed to myself. Maybe I could stay late tonight and everybody can all go do something to get to know the new kid...

She laughed too. "Yeah. He's a pretty sweet guy..." She walked into the kitchen with me following her. "Want some lunch?" She opened a cabinet and grabbed two glasses and handed one to me. I filled it with water with the filter on the fridge.

"Yeah! I'm starving!" I said after taking a sip of cold water. "Maybe the boys can come with us."

"Yeah..." She gave me another weird smirk. "You can go get them. I'm gonna go to the bathroom first."

"K." I walked by the front door and slipped my flip flops on and walked to the basement door and opened it.

I walked down stairs to find Adam, Chad, and the new kid all watching football. "Me and Adi are going to get lunch, do you guys wanna come?"

"Ya! We were just gonna ask you guys the same thing," Chad said getting up and turning the TV off.

"Are we gonna take Adam's car?" I asked. The rest of the boys began to get up and walk to the stairs.

"We can take mine..." Chad replied again.

I walked upstairs with the boys following close behind me.

Adam and the new kid haven't said one word. I hope the new kid isn't shy, everybody in this house is loud. We all get along well too. Once I reached the top of the stairs, I walked to the front door and locked it shut.

I could hear the boys mumbling little talk once they reached the top of the stairs, then Adam said, "Where are we going for lunch?"

"I don't know, how about we grab something from McDonalds." I said turning around to face him. I glanced over at the new kid...

Holy shit... I would be lying if I said he wasn't attractive. And in that one second I was looking at him, he caught me looking. He grinned.

"Sounds good," Adam said getting my attention back to our conversation. "Maybe we can go see a movie too?"
