Do I believe in ghosts? Pssh, no.

Werewolves? Eh, maybe.

Vampires? Undoubtedly, yes.

My name is Y/N, and I'm a huge vampire enthusiast. I can still remember the time where my older sister, Jennie, introduced me to 'Twilight' and 'Vampire Diaries', both of which, in my opinion, are totally inaccurate.

This story, however, is how my life got turned upside-down and shaken up by a... well, I'll let you figure it out...

~~~
Finally. You could get out of the apartment and enjoy the bright summer sun. You had decided to trudge down to the Han river and have yourself a single pringle picnic with yourself, after you had heard that your best friend had made plans with her boyfriend, Mingi. Not that you didn't like him or anything, but you wished that your friend hadn't ditched you. It kinda ruined the 'single pringle' thing. You huffed out an irritated sigh, as you lugged the big bag of food and quilted picnic blanket along the sidewalk. To be honest, you kinda wished you had a boyfriend as of now to be a gentleman and carry the food or blankets or you at this point.
You almost face planted as you plopped the bag and blanket down on the ground. Fluffing the blanket a couple times, you glanced around the park a couple times. Just a few happy lovey-dovey couples doing coupley things. Yes. Right in front of your salad. Literally. Grumbling slightly, you stabbed the plastic fork into your pre-made salad and began chomping away, reading one of the more informative books on vampires, more specifically a vampire's way of getting sustenance. Blood bags. You shuddered when you had tried to 'DIY' a not-so-coordinated vampire friend by the name of Yunho. Your friend had put up quite a fuss when she saw the misshapen bags of scarlet blood in the back of the fridge, but let it go as time went on.
You glanced up from your book once more to scan the scenery. Over by the tree-shaded benches sat a guy no older than yourself. He seemed to be shivering and cowering from... the sun? Should I... Nah. But what if... The mental battle raged on until you finally made up your mind. You snapped the book shut, shoved your half-eaten salad back into the insulated bag, carelessly folded the blanket and tossed it over the bag, and ventured over this 'man of mystery'.
"Excuse me? Sir? Are you okay?" You asked, warily approaching the stranger. He looked at you with big dark eyes. You instantly knew that he was scared, absolutely terrified. You gave his outfit, a ripped t-shirt that hung off his wiry frame paired with dirt-stained and distressed jeans, a goo once over before taking another step closer. Your eyes widened as they fell upon the bright, angry-red patches littered on his porcelain skin.
"Don't come any closer! I don't wanna hurt you!" He said in a scared small voice. That sure plucked the strings of your heart a little.
"Sir, you're definitely not gonna hurt me. You're the one that's burned. Ever heard of SPF 70?" You asked.
"N-no? Is that some sort of laboratory?!" He asked, clearly still petrified with fear.
"No, it's called sunscreen. You wear it when it's really sunny outside. You're not from here, are you?" He looked at you again with those same hurt puppy eyes, which melted your heart instantly. You suddenly realized that, minus the severe burns on his skin, he was a rather good looking guy. His cherry- red hair paired nicely with his eyes and skin color, making his features seemingly more sharp and defined. Wait a minute... "You're a vampire aren't you!"
