meet me in the hallway

chapter 1

"c'mon y/n we're going to be late!" Maddie yelled from the car. today was the day you began your new life in London. you and your best friend Maddie have been staying with her parents in Wales until you found a flat that you liked. today was the day you would move to London and finally feel at home. you loved staying with Maddie's parents but you just wanted a place of your own.

"Maddie I think this is the last box" you said as you stumbled up the stairs attempting to make it to your flat which seemed so far away. you were almost there but because the box was so large your vision was slightly impaired and you couldn't really see where you were going. you hit something. then the something began to talk and at this point you must have been dreaming because you knew that voice from anywhere.
"heyyy do you need a hand with that?" he chucked as he took the heavy box from your arms. surely you were dreaming. surely you didn't just bump into TARON EGERTON!
you tried to calm down but you could hear you heart beating and your palms begin to sweat. you must have been staring because the beautiful man spoke again.
"love, are you alright?" he asked but you couldn't take you eyes away from his jawline. how is it possible for someone to have such a sharp jawline you will never know. you realized you hadn't said anything since you bumped into this beautiful man so thought you had to say something. "Yeah I'm alright. Just couldn't see very well because the box is so big." you chuckled. then the most amazing thing happened. taron laughed too. it was the most beautiful laugh you had ever heard. now you were truly fixated on his beautiful smile and thinking about it that was probably creepy from his side as you had only just met. then the perfect man spoke again.
"sorry how rude of me. I'm taron. I live just down the hall." he said as he pointed to one of the nearby flats.
"no no it's fine. I'm y/n and I live just here." you said and it was at this moment that you realized taron egerton was your new neighbour. taron must have realized at the same time because he smiled and said
"ohhh looks like you are my new neighbour." that cheeky grin of his was enough to make you pass out but you couldn't do that until you had told your best friend who you had just met in your hallway.
"I must be" you said. taron began to walk and dropped your box at your door.
"thank you taron."
"no problem y/n, see you around."  and then he did the unimaginable. not only was that cheeky grin back and beaming but he winked. this time you really did have to pass out so you quickly responded with something that wasn't English
"mmhmmm yeahhhaa".
you quickly opened the door and immediately collapsed.
