it was the early morning of march 6th , 2019 , 4 days before Nina's 15th birthday. she had been wanting to tell BJ that she liked him for the longest but she was nervous that she would be rejected. but that day she mustered up the courage to tell him that day before class started.

she walked into the school , clutching the strap of her backpack and chewing at her bottom lip , looking for him. she seen him and wanted to back out but she told herself to stop being a pussy about it and walked up to him and his friends.

"hey BJ , i need to talk to you alone really quick." she looked at him with butterflies in her stomach.

"yea fasho , aye ima catch y'all later." he spoke to his friends before walking to a empty hallway with her.

she then looked at the floor and spoke , "so i like you and i've been liking you for a while but i didn't know how to tell and i don't know if you like me back." she kinda blurted out.

he looked at her and smiled to himself at her nervousness.

"i like you too." he said. "quit playing." she looked up at him shocked.

"ain't nobody playin , i really do like you." he looked her in her eyes.

she didn't really know what to do after that cause she was planning on getting rejected.

"okay well i'm gonna see you in 3rd period." she hurried and went to her 1st period , grinning the whole class period.
