Quarantine time

Bored. That is basically what I feel every single day. Laying in bed, doing nothing. For some people that have tiring jobs, laying in bed would be bliss.

But not for me, nope. I was bored, I would do anything... and I mean ANYTHING. To satisfy my boredom. Figuring out what to do is the only problem.

Maybe it would be a nice change of pace to go out.

That thought was all I needed. Before heading out I grabbed some food and made some delicious pancakes, it was enough for me to satisfy my hunger.

I then went out and headed towards the park. It was just a few blocks away from my home, which was absolutely convenient.

I didn't want to cause any problem, despite me going out while the whole world is quarantined.

Finally arriving at the park, I was just walking around.

After a few moments passed, I hear something around the other side of the trees. I hid around the bush and what I saw surprised me.

A guy was standing there, he seemed sick. Maybe he was infected by the virus? I couldn't see his face properly, he was looking the other way from me.

Two policemen arrived a few moments later.

"Hey, you there!" The police shouted while walking towards the person, the person stood there, it seemed like he didn't hear them at all.

The police then stopped just a few meters from the person.

"What are you doing here not staying at home?" The police questioned, still no response.

After what felt like minutes, the person turned around towards the police, he had blood on his face and on the front of his shirt.

The two policemen backed up a few steps. While the person approached the two police officers.

"Stand down!" One of the officers then took out his gun while the other reached for his, the other officer replied "I don't think he can talk anymore... He's infected..."

"We gotta take him down!" As soon as the officer said that, they fired into the person. Hitting his head and chest. Which were enough to put him down.

"Damn... Another infected..." One of the officers said checking if it's alive.

I was shocked when they said people are infected, I didn't think it would be like this.

Were the government hiding something from us? Different thoughts flooded my mind at the time.

While I was hiding in the bush still shocked, I then fell on my butt, bumping into the bushes making small sounds.

"Who is there?!" One of the policemen asked walking towards my hiding spot.

I hate myself, I mentally thought. Hopefully, he doesn't find me...

The footsteps of the policemen stopped and were replaced with silence.

"Let's go dude, we have to get rid of this guy," The other policemen said to the other officer.

"I swear there were someone here... Okay, Let's go" The officer turned to his partner and walked over to him.

I used this chance to walk away and head towards home. It took me a while to walk all the way home, cause I didn't feel like running.

I finally arrived at home, maybe it wasn't such a good idea to go out.

I'll just pretend nothing happened and just play games.. yep! Alright good idea.

I hopped on my couch and turned on my console.

Everyone should just stay home and be lazy to be honest.
