Sooji was preparing for her next class when her phone is beeping. One message. It's Shihyun. And she smiles involuntarily seeing that name. Oh, God! She scolds herself when she realizes her own reaction.
Shihyun: Is Shian already back at school?
Sooji: Yeah...he arrived yesterday and already starting his school again today...Why??
Shihyun: Can I pick him up??? I miss him...
Shian said many times that he missed Shihyun too. When Sooji didn't reply for a minute. Shihyun texts her again.
Shihyun: please...🥺🥺🥺
Sooji: How are you? Are you feeling good already?
Shihyun: I feel so much better...😊😊😊 so...can I pick him up??
Sooji: Okay fine...
Shihyun: Can I take him to lunch???
Sooji: Sure...but dont come home too late, okay? He needs to do his homework...
Shihyun: Yes Ma'am!!!
Sooji puts her phone down. She has a bad feeling. For no reason. Maybe she's just overthinking.

Shian walks out of the class lazily. But his eyes suddenly light up when he saw who's been waiting for him outside the class. "UNCLE!!!", he runs to Shihyun and hugs him.
"Hi buddy...", Shihyun smiles. Patting Shian's head. "Do you miss me??"
Shian nods eagerly then pouts. "Why did you never come? You promised to see us soon..."
"I am so...sorry...", Shihyun crouches in front of Shian. Feeling really guilty. "I've been a little bit busy..."
Shian still pouts cutely.
"But I am here now...right? Do you want some ice creams??"
"Yeesss!!!", Shian grins instantly. Forget that a second ago he was angry with Shihyun.
"But we should get your lunch first...what do you want to eat?"
"Hmm...I dont know..."
"How about we try your mom's favourite food...so we can bring it home for her too..."
Shian nods excitedly then frowns. "What is my mom's favourite food? My mom doesn't really like eating..."
"Dim sum..."
"Dim sum?", Shian looks at Shihyun like he's just said a weird word.
"Haven't you ever tried dim sum??"
Shian shakes his head. And Shihyun's remember that Shian lived in New York since he was born. He must be unfamiliar with Asian food.
"Okay dim sum it is...come on..."

After texting Sooji, letting her now that Shian already with him, Shihyun takes Shian to Sooji's favourite dim sum restaurant. He ordered fried rice and dumplings.
"How's your vacation?", Shihyun asks while taking a bite of the dumpling.
"It's fun...but I missed my mom...", Shian says. He's munching his fried rice eagerly.
Shihyun chuckles. "You should slow down..."
"But this fried rice is really good...", Shian continues to eat spoonful rice. "I saw my mom sleeping with you..."
