You’ve been singing ever since you can talk and everyone around you knows how much you love to do it. You have a few idols but there are also people in the music industry you can’t stand. You don’t know why but you can’t listen to their music without getting an angry frown on your face.

The worst one has to be Bars and Melodie. Yeah you have to admit they’re  cute but c’mon how can they have so many fans with only a few songs out in the industry that aren't even that good. 

You better not talk about them this way because no one besides your family even knows you. Your goal is to get famous in the new year. Your mum has to be your biggest fan and supporter and that’s why she has booked a meeting with a producer today.

You got up super early to get ready and after you’ve eaten your breakfast you’re all done and head out of the door with your mum running behind you. It almost looks like your mum is more excited than you.

A 30 minutes’ drive later you and your mum enter the studio and are greeted by a receptionist. She leads you to the producer guy and while walking past a lot of recording booths you get more nervous. When the receptionist opens another door you see a really tall man. He greets you and your mum and introduces himself as the producer.

The three of you sit down around a table and start discussing about your future and career. It’s hard to get in the music business and you know that too but you’re willing to try everything to get to the top. That’s when the producer comes with an idea. He thinks he’s a genius and just thought of the best idea ever. You’re getting excited and wait for him to tell his ‘wonderful’ idea.

‘I know two boys who got a pretty big amount of fans and they’re always up for a collaborating. One is a rapper and one a singer and you will fit in perfectly with the two of them. They have helped me out a few times before and their work is really amazing. Their name is Bars and Melodie and they’re real names are Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan’. The producer says with a big smile and you look at him like he’s insane.

‘I’m sorry but I really dislike those boys’. You say with a straight face.

‘But why? They’re willing to help you and they’re amazing’.

‘I don’t know I just don’t like them. Especially that Leo guy’.

‘His name is Leondre’.

‘Whatever’.

‘C’mon honey this is your chance’. You mum says and you start thinking about it. if you don’t accept this you won’t have a producer who will help you and you only have to record one song with those boys.

‘One song only?’

‘Whatever you want’. the producer says.

‘Fine whatever everything for the fame’.

*one week later*

You’re back in the studio and Leondre and Charlie are sitting in front of you. You guys didn’t even greet each other but just glared. Apparently the producer let them watch my youtube covers so they know who they’re dealing with. If they’ve watched my most recent one they have probably heard my opinion about Bars and Melodie.

‘Alright guys let’s record some stuff’.

*a few hours later*

You’re finally done recording the most important bits of the song. You thought you would be relieved you could get out of here but you’re actually kind of sad to leave the boys. What changed in the past few hours. You didn’t start liking them did you?

At the end of the day Leondre comes walking towards you and you’re ready to turn around and leave when he grabs you hand and turns you back around to face him.

‘I’m sorry about being so rude today. You’re actually pretty cool to hang around with’. You blurt out without thinking.

‘I was about to say the same thing about you. It was fun working together. Much better than I expected’. Leondre smiles.

‘Yeah much better. Thank you so much for helping me out’.

‘No problem Raychelle’.

‘Well I got to go now thanks again’.

‘Wait! Can I get your number so we can meet up again?’ he asks and you give him your number.

After that he gives you a hug and you walk out of the studio. Well that wasn’t too bad. You’ve got a single ready and you’re actually on good terms with Leondre. Who is a pretty cute and amazing person you have to admit.
