The year was Ugandan Knuckles. People from apandahcord were beginning to gather and make friends with whoever was popular because social climbing. Snowy was still in his prime, the grass was green and there was a relatively low crimerate in the community, aside from the occasional posting of porn in general.
Poofy was feeling blue. There was just something missing from his life. The gachi muchi just didn't quite satisfy him anymore. He was depressed, lonely and he felt so ignored.
'Hey,' said Pankek. 'Poofy are you okay?' Poofy knew he wasn't doing so well but he couldn't say anything to his bro. It wasn't right. 'Yeah.'
'Well I'm gonna ask my dad if you can sleep over after school,' said Pankek. 'We can play video games all night'
Poofy dreaded staying at his own house that day, so he agreed.
On his way home from school, Poofy opened the door and went up the stairs to get his stuff. He stuffed his pajamas and snacks into his small rucksack and went back out. To his shock, his dad was standing in the hallway, waiting for him. 'You're not going anywhere.' said Poofy's dad. 'Why not?' said Poofy, quivering with fear. It had been happening for a while, Poofy had been through this before. Sometimes his dad would come home from work drunk and aggressive, and before his mom came home, he would do painful things with Poofy. Poofy was so afraid of his dad.
Poofy endured the pain of his dad beating him up and assaulting him until it was over. When he was sure that his dad was asleep, he escaped and went out to Pankek's house.
Pankek opened the door to a bleary eyed Poofy with fresh bruises and cuts. Immediately he took Poofy into his arms and brought him inside. Pankek offered his pyjamas to Poofy and they sat inside his room in silence before Pankek spoke.
'It was your dad, wasn't it.'
Poofy immediately burst into tears. Pankek knew it. He should have done something sooner to protect him.
'I know what will cheer you up' said Pankek. He made his special nachos and brought candy up to the room and theg started playing Mario Kart with each other for the rest of the night.
When Pankek eventually fell asleep, Poofy watched him as his chest rose up and down. He stared at his innocent sleeping face. 'He's really cute when he has his eyes closed,' he thought to himself. He felt himself coming closer, until their lips touched. But he stopped, and realised, 'Fuck... I'm in love with Pankek'
