Dahlia groaned rubbing her neck, it was extremely sore and she couldn't think of a reason—shit.

The of last night memories hit her like a train, the tinted suv, the chase, her mother's note, her phone, the prick in her neck. She quickly sat up, ripping the sheets off of her body but quickly fell back down as her body felt like it weighed a ton. She closed her eyes once again, passing out.

When she woke up again, it was still dark. She didn't know how much she might've slept, maybe it was another night? There was no clock anywhere in the room, she didn't have her phone. This time she managed to get out of bed and sit on the edge. She waited for a moment, until her head stopped spinning. She noticed a bedside lamp beside the bed. When the light flooded the room, she noticed that she was in an old yet elegant room unfamiliar to her.

Where the hell was she?

She shivered, feeling as if she was freezing, that's when she noticed that she was just wearing her underwear and a large black button up shirt and nothing else. The feeling of confusion punched her hard in her gut as ahe felt the need to throw up.

She pushed her need to throw up aside as she turned around, she needed to escape, she had to. Stumbling to the door she turned the handle, pushing the wooden door open stepping out and silently locking it behind her. She was now standing in a long dark hallway which lead to a slight illuminated staircase going down, this hallway looked like it was straight out of a mediaeval castle.
