After that free day I had with Tsubaki, everything seemed to return to normal. At least as normal as it can get with vampires in your life.

I blinked my eyes open, trying to go back to sleep. I looked at the alarm clock next to me. My vision was too blurry for me to read the time. Without much thought, I hit the button on top of the said alarm to shut it up. I turned away from the broken clock, trying to go back to sleep. Which seemed to work.

Until it was cut off by a panicked Belkia not noticing me on the floor and stepping on my back. Anraged, I grabbed his ankle and threw it away. He lost his balance and fell face first. With the pain on my back not allowing me to go back to sleep, I decided to sit up. Belkia suddenly started shaking my shoulders.

-BEAR~CHAN! YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE!

He yelled. I waited a moment, the words slowly sinking in and after that it finally hit me. I shook him off of me and kicked him out of my room. I quickly started dressing up.

~Tsubaki!

I yelled while buttoning my school uniform. He appeared at the door moments later with a questioning look on his face. It was apparent that Belkia had just woken him up. Poor Piñata. I pointed to my hair and he seemed to get what I meant. He quickly found a brush and started doing my hair. Fun fact, he was really good at doing my hair. He also loved playing with my hair, that's why I gave him permission to touch my hair whenever he wanted. I sat down in front of him, trying to not move much while he brushed my hair.

~Ow Ow ow!

I hissed, he of course didn't apologise. After he was done I rushed to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I ran downstairs, grabbed my school bag and skipped over Belkia's corpse. That's what you get for waking up Tsubaki, I once tried to do the job but the outcome wasn't pleasant whatever that's a story for another time! I put on my shoes and ran to the gate. I stopped midway when I heard Belkia's voice.

-Food!

He yelled.

Wha?

I got confused. Everyday I cooked for them so they probably were going to be starving by the time I came back.

-I'll call Tachibana~sama for you and order something!

I yelled back to him and continued running to the train station. He yelled something after me but I couldn't hear him.

I finally made it to the schools gate. With a slower pace, I ran to the school. I heard someone shout "No running in the school grounds!" but I payed no mind and changed my shoes to my school shoes. I went to my classroom where homeroom was just about to start. I saw the teacher at the end of the hall, and for a moment we locked eyes. It was a stand-off. The teacher smirked. Before he could even move I quickly ran inside the classroom before the teacher could get inside. VICTORY TO KYOKO!

I plopped down to my seat and sighed in relief, finally being able to breathe. I shot the teacher a victorious look but his smirk didn't vanish from his face, it became wider.

-Sunoku~san

He called out to me, everyone turned towards me.

Oh shit, this isn't going as I planned.

-You are on cleaning duty today.

His glasses shone and he pushed them up. Fuck! That's the ultimate anime move!

I said under my breath, not breaking the staring contest between us. He cleared his throat. Eyes darting around the room, trying to avoid my seemingly un-avoidable glare.
