Spells and Scales

Chapter 1

(Kore's P.O.V)
I had just finished wipping down all the tables and counters sighing and whipping the back of my arm across my forehead. I wave goodbye to my workers after taking off my apron and putting things away. Heading back to my house I realize I need some things for the coffee shop. I go into the market and grab the essentials needed but since I'm tired I forgot a few things and head back home. I get home and put my things away and head upstairs and check my stash of potions and my spell book making sure its still there. I get up and go to my bed laying down and covering up falling asleep easy.

(Ash's P.O.V)
Ugh today has been so hard. Doing all the work my dad used to do. My brother should be doing this but he keeps running from his duties as the next in line. If he keeps this up...he's gonna gave to step down. God he needs to man up. My new butler brings me coffee and I glare at him, he flinched and bows apologising. "It's fine don't let me get to ya, I'm just tired is all, and for future reference I don't like coffee" I say looking at him. He bows again mumbling a sorry. I laugh slightly shaking my head. Eventually I pass out due to being awake for 4 days straightand no sleep.

-In the morning-

(Kore's P.O.V)
I wake up and stretch yawning in the prosses. I get up and grab the stuff from last night after changing and I smile to myself cause life is going good rn. I go to the coffee shop and realize I forgot a few things from the market. I send one of my workers there to get the stuff we missed. I get a strange feeling and I tell my workers in going home and that my stomach hurts. They say ok and I leave I'm walking back home I see my house door wide open and I hear movement inside I quickly run the rest of the way to my house and I run inside and I look around. All my furniture is flipped and I hear movement upstairs before I can start heading that way I feel a cloth over my mouth and some ones holding onto me. Soom my vision blurts and I blackout...

(Ash's P.O.V.)
We're doing inspections today and we get to this house I tell my men to go inside and do a search of the place I hear them throwing things around and it slightly pisses me off cause they just leave the houses like that I'm waiting next to the house when a girl comes running this way and into the house I follow behind her and see she's shocked I quietly sneek behind her and cover her mouth with a cloth to prevent her from going upstairs and flipping out on the guards. I wait till she blacks out and stops struggling. One of the guards comes down and shows my a spell book and potions. I stare at him in disbelief and look down at the girl in my arms. I sigh and pick her up bridal style I tell the cards "let's go!" I walk out of the house and to my horse I had her to one of the guards and tell him to hold her while I get up onto my horse then to hand her back to me. We start heading back to the palace earning some looks from other towns girls that have crushes on me. We get back to the palace and I dismount after handing her to one of the guards and ordering him to take her to my room and ask the maids to change her. I go Into my room after the maids leave and grab a towel and go into the bathroom to shower.

(Kore's P.O.V.)
I wake up in blue silk sheets and start to panic. "Where am I" I say to myself then I hear a door creak open and a guy walks out with a towel around his waist. He has black hair that looks soft I watch a drop fall from his hair and make its way down onto his shoulder and down his chest and abs. I mummbles "hot" under my breath not realizing I was staring and that he had caught me. "Like what you see?" he chuckles and I blush turning away, I quickly get up and bow apologising and start walking towards the door. I go to open the door but he slams it back shut. I jump slightly and turn back around, our faces mere inches apart and I blush more he leans closer and....

Sorry.....not sorry. You are gonna need to expect a lot of cliffhangers with me but I'll get chapter 2 out soon bye sunsets (824 words)
