Escape it all

Chapter 1: The beginning

       Bright shinning sun, beautiful beaches, hot sand that burns the bottom of all the people feet who live in the Keys. It was the beginning of summer, and all the students were let out of school. They were ready fro their three months of never ending boat riding, gulf clubs, and alcohol.

But that was only for the North siders. It was a lot different for the South side. The North siders always belittled the South side, they had more money, expensive cars, high end clothing. But it wasn't like that for the others. Shabby homes for most of them. Not many of the kids who lived on the South side came from good homes, so their friends were their family.

Between both sides peace was always kept. Of course there was occasional dirty glances and talk slurred around the island, but it was kept quiet. No crime was ever committed, that the sheriffs office knew about at least. Everyone knew everyone, so it was hard to ever keep anything really a secret.

On the South side there were groups inside of the dividing factor of South and North. Out story begins with a tribe on the south side, The boardies, that one of the well known groups on the island, but the boardies kept their circle small that's how they liked it.

There's Ella J. Banes. She has natural, long, dirty blonde, messy waves. Along with bright green eyes. The perfect fit body, long legs, golden skin. She's the most social outgoing person of the boardies. She has the party house you could say, that was after both her parents were lost at sea. She never really got over it. She still seems to say to everyone that she swears that they're alive, that they're  "calling to her". No one ever believes her. Her aunt is her legal guardian, but she's in Mississippi on a "business" trip. Ella hasn't seen her in months.

Then there's Chloe Waters. She lives on the North side, but spends all of her time with the boardies, ever since the beginning of high school. She refused to be apart of the collars. Don't be fooled she has a temper that one, very intimidating. She has such beautiful long brown hair, with crystal blue eyes. Perfect body with long legs as well with perfect tan skin, on her left leg she has a tattoo of a butterfly, completely opposite of her personality. She comes from a very loving home, but all loving homes have the terrors behind closed doors.

Here we have Maria Picket, she's the messy one you could say. She does everything everyone else is too smart enough to do. Just like the rest, they never go to school really. She stays with Ella J most of the time, her home life isn't the best either. Her drug addicted mother has taken a toll on her the past couple of years, ever since her dad left. She has short brown hair, with very pretty waves, with beautiful hazel eyes. She's fairly short, don't let that mistaken you, she fight any collar for her boardies.

The last one of the group is Kyle Ravens, he's the brains of the group. He's pretty dorky, but he is the best surfer here. He has long black curly hair with bright blue eyes. His dad owns a bait shop, called 'Kieth n Sons'. HIs dad is very strict, always wants the best for him. He doesn't like him hanging out with the rest of the boardies because he thinks they're bad news, Kyle never listens. His father always wish that they could be North siders, but that's never what they got.

And here. Is where the story begins.
