Finn, Philby, Willa, and Amanda walked the smooth stone path of the Magic Kingdom's Liberty Square. A Hot breeze mixed with freshly fallen rain made the Florida night humid and sticky. As they walked, the light from their DHIs shimmered off the pools of water loitering across the path.
The Four teens were all DHIs or Disney Host Interactive. Holograms for the Disney Parks that guided guests through each land, sharing Disney trivia or ride wait times. At night, however, was a different story. Along with three others, Maybeck, Charlene, and Jess, they are known as The Kingdom Keepers. When they fall asleep, instead of drifting into dreamland, they rise to find themselves in the Disney Parks as their holograms. Guided by their mentor Wayne Kresky, they combat the Overtakers, a group of Disney villains hellbent on taking over the parks. This particular night was like most other nights, A quick patrol around the Magic Kingdom to make sure there was no suspicious activity.
BANG - A profound noise came from their left.
"Awwwwww why does it have to be this place?" Willa said grabbing Philby's arm.
"Just our luck." He said, clearly unsurprised by the event.
"Well... Are we going or not, this IS our job after all." Amanda exclaimed.
"Alright guys, we're headed in." Finn announced, his voice choking slightly.
Finn was the leader of the group, though he thought they were all equally a team. Wayne wanted it that way:' Finn the leader, Philby the tech guy, Charlene the athlete of the group, and Maybeck who has the artist's eye for details. As for Amanda and Jess, they are fairlies, meaning fairly human. The two sisters each had their own unique ability, though they thought of their gifts as curses. Amanda is a telekinetic and Jess is a seer.
