Chapter 11

Megan's Pov

"I was in the mall with my brother going our way to the bookstore to buy something for his school project and after that we drove off home."

"My brother kept looking at me and I was like why are you staring at me like that, he said because you and Aiden look good together and I think he likes you."

"Mason what are you talking about? He doesn't like me and he's just annoying me and besides that guy doesn't seem to like anybody, you know he's cruel."

"It doesn't seem to me like it and I saw the way he looks at you and both of you really look good together mason said."

"I don't like that guy mason thinking everything revolves around him you know and he's a narcissist and you don't even know what i'm talking about."

"Whatever you say big sister, he just laughed at me and continued playing with his gadget."

"We got home and my brother went to change in his basketball jersey and to get the ball and I change into leggings and a big shirt because that's the best combo to ever wear, I told mason a while ago that isn't a bit early to go in the court and he just told me it's already almost 4 p.m and it takes us time to walk in there."

"I sound so stupid but I just don't want to go there because the bastard will be there and I don't want him near me because every time he is I keep having these strange feelings and I don't want it."

"Mason was playing with the other kids and I was just sitting on the bench and a whole lot minutes have passed and I can see no sign of the bastard."

"I sighed knowing he didn't come, Oh thank God."

"The kids that were playing with mason went home already but mason insisted for me to play with him, it was the only two of us left in the court."

"I declined at first but then agreed because he was making that sad face of his and can't say no to him."

"Mason and I were playing basketball, he was the one teaching me how to shoot and dribble but still I didn't get along with the sport, Gosh this is so not my sport I thought."

"Mason was dribbling and running towards the ring to shoot the ball and I tried to block him but still he preserve."

"I told him mason aren't you tired? because I am."

"No and don't you remember Aiden will be coming here to play with me he said."

"You still think he's coming?"

"Yes because he told us remember that he's gonna come play with me."

"He's not coming okay? if he is he'd be here right now but he's not."

"You would really think I won't come."

"I haven't turned around but I know who that sexy voice belongs to and it's no other than the bastard, ugh why did he even still come it's past five for goodness sake."

"Are you really asking me that question? you were the one who wants to come play with my brother and  he told you remember that both of you'll play at 4 p.m in the afternoon and wow you really are early I should give you loud claps for that, I said sarcastically."

"Something came up to me and I overslept that's why I cant be here on time and i'll still make it up to mason, right mason he asked and mason just nodded smiling."

"Oh okay something came up what an excuse...."

"It's not an excuse it's the truth and I did come even though it's already late because I always keep my word."

I saw his knuckles wrapped around by a cloth, I guess he's telling the truth something really came up to him and I decided to not ask him about it.

"Just play with mason now okay, we have to be at home by 7:00 for dinner and i'll  just go sit at the bench and he just nodded and smiled handsomely."

"wait what did I really find him handsome, no he's not he's just a bastard."

"I look at them play and damn this man is good at playing this game he's muscles were flexing every time he shoots the ball into the ring and I don't know who's winning because I was just glancing from time to time at them playing."

"They were finally done and they were taking a break so I gave mason water and wiped his sweats and he went back to playing, I guess he's not tired."

"Don't you want to wipe my sweats off too?"

"I looked at him at my right side getting his water from his duffle bag and said what makes you think I want to do that to you, what are you some kind of my boss."

"He was drinking first the water and said you really are feisty huh? as he went nearer to me saying you know that's what makes me the most turned on about you and went back to play with Mason."

"My mouth hung open not believing what he said he was turned on by me? Me? I shook my head not believing what he said but I just realized that he's used to saying those kinds of things to girls he wants to bed and I won't be one of them.."

I was sitting on the bench focused on my phone and mason went to me and said Megan you have to come play with Aiden, He won in our game and my prize to him was that for you to play basketball wit him.

I was just really force into playing with the bastard and I noticed that he was making me score and it's not bad at all playing with him it's kind a fun."

"He was dribbling and I tried to steal the ball from him but I cant still get it until we both lost our balance and got on the ground."

"I was on top of him and he was under me and we stared at each other eyes for I don't know how long until we heard someone cleared their throat."

"I got off from him and tried to fix myself and he was doing the same thing."

"I'm sorry" we said it at the same time.

"it's fine" we said it at the same time again.

I think we should go home now mason and you should too.

We went to get our things from the bench and got out of the court.

"I didn't talk much walking home and mason was asking a lot of questions to Aiden and he was answering every question willingly without being annoyed by mason."

"We were very near to our houses and mason suddenly ran inside the house as he saw the gate was wide open, he was hungry so bad for sure, I laughed."

"You really look beautiful laughing, I hope I get to see you like this everyday."

After a few moments of no one speaking I break it by saying so i'm gonna go now, I had fun today even if it's with you.

"I had fun too because you were there."

"I smiled  and then said my goodbye to him and as I was walking to the gate I heard him say wait."

"May I take you to dinner sometime next week he said."

"I already told you No and besides i'm busy next week."

"After that week then."

"I'm still busy."

"I know you're just making excuses, why won't you just let me take you out dinner and have some fun."

"I already told you I don't trust guys like you changing woman everyday as if they're clothes."

"I can feel it that you're just stopping yourself to go out with me because you're scared of what might happened because I think you're attracted to me and i'll do everything in my power to make you mine and succumb to me."

"I glared at him angrily and he went near me and I didn't expect what he did he kissed my cheek and it sent cold shivers down my spine."

"Bye baby and then he wink at me and got inside their house."

"I touched my cheek with my right palm and still felt the warmth of his lips."

"Oh hell no this is not happening and i'll never be yours, Ever..."
