I never knew that you hated me!
I thought you were my ride or do Die, always and forever!
I even went to the extent of Trusting you, caring for you,
Loving you! Thinking that you Would reciprocate the love, but turns out I was wrong about you.
I never knew how painful it was to be hated
By the ones you loved, but from you I learnt a lot, for that I am grateful.
I thought you were a good friend who would love
And cherish me through thick and thin and all my flaws.
But you acted flawless to me yet you were a lion dressed in sheep's clothing all because I never knew!
All because of my trust issues I never knew that you would betray me
Like what Judas did to Jesus. I heard rumours
About you but did not take heed of them
For I was blinded by the trust I had put in you!
All because I never knew you were an enemy with a passion!
If only the excuses you gave made sense I would have tried to understand I was always your shoulder to lean on and cry on too. I never knew that the one you comforted would be the one to cause tears to stream down your cheeks!
All this happened because I never knew that your closest pals are your mortal enemies.
