'W-what?' You felt a lump in your throat making it harder for you speak.

He looked at you in all seriousness. 'There you go, Y/N. You act like you can't hear what I'm saying but I know for a fact that you heard me loud and clear.'

'Y/N, you just can't keep avoiding my feelings. I like you, okay? No, I mean I love you. I love you so much and there's nothing you can do to make me go away.'

You looked down avoiding eye contact, fiddling with your fingers as he came closer to you and cupped your cheeks.

'Look, I'm not asking you to like me back, because I know your wounds are just healing. All I'm asking for is you to give me a chance.'

You were silent for a moment and he took it as your answer. 'I won't force you, if you don't like me back but-'

'Okay.' You cut him off.

'Okay, what?'

'I'll give you a chance.'

'Seriously?' Jungkook's eyes widened in shock and excitement.

'Yeah.' You showed him a fragment of your smile.

'Yess!' He exaclaimed jumping all around like a kid.

'Jungkook, did you just forget that you're a gang leader or something?'

'No. What about you? Are you forgetting that right now you're with your future boyfriend?' He smirked.

'Woah there! Mr. Jungkook not so fast.' You chuckled.

You guys arrived home and you couldn't help but notice the smile pestered on his face.

'Are you okay?'

'I'm more than that.' He gave you a brighter smile.

'You're so weird,' you said rolling your eyes. All of a sudden, Yeontan came running.

'Aishh! You again.' He whispered to himself.

You noticed his frown and couldn't help but laugh at his cuteness.

'Are you jealous of him?'

'So what if I am...huh?'

'Jungkook, he's just a dog.' You looked at him, perplexed at his jealousy.

'So? You kiss him, hug him, you do the things that I wish to do with you.'

He blurted out making you blush.

Jungkook left for work and asked Jimin to look after you. He was alert after what happened and left no loopholes. 

'Hey Jimin, I cooked lunch for you, let's eat.'

He looked at you then looked away as if something was bothering him.

'What's wrong?'

'Look, I'll be honest with you, ever since Jungkook met you, he's been the best version of himself but-'

'But what?' 

'You know Mark's cousin, Jackson Wang right, the one Jungkook killed? Well his family happens to hold one of the largest gangs in Singapore. They found out what happened to Wang and now they're angrier than ever.'

'So you're saying Jungkook's in danger?'

'I mean he's always been in danger, but now, he has you, and they'll just use that against him. They'll force him to give himself up in exchange for your freedom because they know he loves you.'

'I want you to tell him that you don't like him, tell him to give up and that a guy like him could never be loved by a girl like you, I want you to-'

'Make him hate me...?'

You cut him off as your voice fell into a whisper.

Jimin nods his head slowly.

Y/N: You want him to hate me so that this way he'll let me go... and they won't find a weakness... his weakness...

Jimin: I'm sorry Y/N...this-

Y/N: I know... you don't need to explain... I know so don't worry...

You looked down with saddened, teary eyes after all you felt like you started growing feelings for Jungkook.

[TIME SKIP]

Jungkook got home carrying a bouquet of flowers and some dog food for Yeontan.

Jungkook: I got some dog food for that shortie...

He chuckled and you forced a smile.

Y/N: Jungkook, I need to tell you something.

He smiled and got closer to you handing you the flowers.

Jungkook: What is it that my queen wants to talk about?

Y/N's POV

My heart broke from his sentence and I know how hurt he would be after what I'm about to tell him...

Y/N: I think, we need to stop this...

Jungkook: What? Why? Did I do anything wrong? I'll fix it just tell me what it is...

Y/N: No, it's not that..I....I-I just can't lo-love a person li-like you...

Jungkook: What? What do you mean Y/N?

He looked saddened.

I knew he was hurt...because of me...but Jungkook, I love you and I can't lose you... I'm sorry...

Y/N: I can't love a person as horrible as you...

I tried to stop tears from emerging... how can I be like this?

There you did it.... You hurt him!

Jungkook: No, I don't believe you...

Y/N: I don't care if you believe me or not! But Jungkook, can't you see? I only agreed because I pitied you...

(You lied)

Jungkook: You're lying! You took care of me when I was sick... Y/N stop lying!

Y/N: I'm not lying! I took care of you because I was hoping you'd let me leave this awful place!

Jungkook: S-so you did all of this... just to leave?

There he was... teary eyed... hurt....

Y/N: Yes because I can't stand you!

(You lied once again)

Jungkook: T-then get out!

Jungkook;

"And also do me a favour, get out of my life"
