She was happy, nervous, sad and scared..... Because it's been almost a year since a year Tommorow is her birthday 8th May She missed her dad so much And scared that she'll mess up "Mess up" "Why?" You might be thinking that. She's moving out to NYC from California on 12th (she lives in California) for reaching her dreams. First she'll go to University to study English to become a writer then she'll go to an Art College. What if she does something wrong? What if everything goes wrong?
"These are just insecurities" she told herself. She went to brush her teeth and eat breakfast.. The family cook made her waffles and her brother pancakes. "Happy early birthday sis" Andrew said "O-oh happy early birthday miss" the cook Miss Madeline said. Emilia smiled and said, "Thank you, you guys and Madeline please call me Emilia not 'miss'. "
After breakfast.
Emilia got a call from Luna, her childhood bff ( Luna Baker daughter of Mr Grayson Baker and Mrs Lilac Baker the CEOs of The Scarlet Catering)
The call: "Hi Luna" "Heya Emilia" "You wanna hang out? Your birthday is tomorrow I may take you shopping" Luna said "Yea sure, But when tho?" Emilia said "5 pm?" Luna asked "Sounds like a plan!" Emilia said cheerfully. Emilia went to her room, She was laying on her bed and browsing on YouTube then suddenly she saw a video of her dad at the airport..... He really is coming she thought. She spent most of the time browsing and playing games on her phone. (That's what we all do, don't we?)
4:45 pm "OMG I TOTALLY FORGOT!" "I NEED TO GET READY FAST" Emilia screamed. She rushed to her closet, changed into a red oversized cropped-hoodie and black denim shorts. She tied her hair to a pony tail and got the keys to her car, wore a pair of white sneakers. She went to the garage and took out her car for a ride to Luna's place. (Her car is a black Hellcat). She turned on some music as her car zoomed on the road. (That's a vibe, Hells Yeah!)
Finally she reached Luna's place after a 20 minute ride.
She rang the bell. Luna opened the door "Took you long enough, you're 10 minutes late Emilia Jordan." "Kidding hahaha" Luna laughed And Emilia snickered. (Cont....)
