POV Jiwoo

I was sitting in my living room looking in front of me. Fuck my life. What am I going to do? I have to call Min Gyu and see if he told father, but he is going to be so angry. He probably won't even answer the phone. I sighed and stood up. I could call my mother and see if she knows something. But what if she suspects me? No, she won't

I looked at the clock and bit my lower lip. I searched for the number of my mother and found it after some time. When I was ready, I called her. She shortly after picked up, ''So Bin-ah! I'm so happy that you called me'', I smiled a little. ''Hello Mom. How are you?'', my mother sighed and I raised an eyebrow, ''It's very stressful right now but I'm okay''. 

''Stressful? Why?'', I swallowed and started to bite my lower lip Did he tell them? ''Your father is planning to retire in some months and now he has to show everything to Min Gyu, even though he already knows everything. I don't know why he is doing that'', I sighed quietly. ''So Min Gyu really wants to take over the mafia?'', I shook my head and sat down on my couch again. 

''He really wants it. And you know him, if he wants something he won't stop'', I rolled my eyes when my mother said that. Min Gyu is really stubborn. ''There isn't anything else...?'', I tensed up after I asked that. She seems way too calm. She couldn't know. ''There isn't anything else, why?'', I leaned back and sighed out of relieve. 

''Oh I'm just asking. I really miss you mom'', she laughed and I smiled. ''I miss you too So Bin-ah. How is work going? Shouldn't you be at work now?'', I widened my eyes when she said that. I didn't tell her that I was fired! If I tell her that I was fired, she is going to ask why. I should tell her that I quit because I didn't like it there. 

''I actually... quit...'', she gasped, ''But why? What are you going to do?!''. I breathed out the air loudly, ''I quit because I... didn't like it there. And don't worry I already found a new job. I'm working as an assistant for a bank chef'', my mother once again gasped and I rolled my eyes. ''I'm so proud of you! An assistant!'', I smiled a little. 

''Uhm... Mom... are you at home now...?'', I scratched the back of my head. ''Of course. Where else would I be?'', she laughed and I swallowed. ''Is Min Gyu there? If yes, can I talk to him...?'', I swallowed once again. I feel like I am having a panic attack. ''Min Gyu? Well let me see'', I heard her call his name but nobody answered, ''I'm sorry So Bin-ah but it looks like he isn't here right now''. 

I sighed out of relieve, ''That's okay. I'll have to go now mom. I'll call you again soon, okay?'', she said yes and I ended the call. What if he had been there? Would he want to talk to me? I shook my head and stood up. I'll go to sleep now.

The Next Day 

I was getting ready when my phone started to ring, ''Yes?'', I answered. ''Jiwoo-ah, I don't know if you want to talk to me but I wanted to call you'', I smiled when I heard Ha Rin's voice. ''Why wouldn't I want to talk to you, Ha Rin-ah? I love talking to you'', she laughed and so did I. ''I heard that you found a new job and I wanted congratulate you!'', I smiled. 

''Thank you! Your brother told you didn't he?'', she said yes and I shook my head laughing, ''I'm not even surprised''. I saw her in front of me grinning and I rolled my eyes, ''I'll have to get ready for work, I'm really sorry that we can't talk any longer''. ''Let's do something tonight! You wanna go clubbing?'', I raised an eyebrow when she asked that. 

''Clubbing? Well... okay... but where?'', I already had a feeling that I knew the answer to that question. ''The club of my brother. And if you don't feel comfortable going there, don't worry he isn't there tonight!'', I sighed and thought about it. It's not that I am not comfortable when he is there it's just the fact that I got fired from this place. ''Okay I'm in'', she laughed and I rolled my eyes. ''We'll meet there, okay?'', I said yes and then ended the call
