Daniel: It was a joke?

it was a regular day for me, but something seemed off about Dani, yesterday was our 3 year anniversary. It was great we hada cute date and everything was just perfect. I hear daniels phone ring and he was in the shower so i answered it for him,

" Hey Daniel, its been three years you can break up with Y/n now, good job the 2,000 is in the spot its supposed to be in good job man" 

" What?!" I asked and they hung up..... My heart shattered into a million pieces.  What the hell just happened? what is going on?.... I have so many questions, but all I can do is curl up in a ball and cry. I did exactly that..

Daniel came out of the shower and sat by me, " Hey, babe. I was wondering if we can go get food i'm starving." I didn't say anything, i just looked at the ground. " Y/n, Whats going on. Are you ok" I don't know what it was but a burst of angry spread through me like a wild fire. 

" No Daniel im not ok! I spent the last three years thinking you loved me. thinking that you cared but you don't" i screamed at him, and in that moment. He knew that i knew. His Face dropped and his eyes turned a dark blue, not the ocean color they normally are. He reached for my hand but i pulled it away, " How could you?" i asked with tears in my eyes. His eyes softened and he said, 

" Let me explain.. A long time ago, Someone dared me to date you as a joke because we knew you were known as the nerd girl. At first I hated it it was all an act for the first six months, but then we hung out alot and i met your parents, and i found out you were pretty cool before i knew it i was falling in love with you. But after that i didn't fake anything" You had a disgusted look on your face, your heart felt as if a bullet went straight through it.  You started to cry and Daniel tried to hug you but you smacked him across the cheek, " DON'T TOUCH ME" you screamed at him, then you started to pack your bags and got ready to go. 

" Baby, please i'm sorry.... i'm so sorry, please we've been together for three years..... please" he whispered as tears fell from his eyes.

" No Daniel we were together for your stupid little dare.!" I spat

" I thought that they forgot about it I didn't think they would actually call me!", He yelled 

" I really loved you.....and that was my mistake" I whispered...." I'm just the nerd girl.'' my eyes started to sting with the tears that threatened them..... Behind me I could hear Daniel yell and scream as I ran out the front door and into my car.
