Silent Plea

Prologue

"One touch!" I quickly yelled when I felt the ball touch my right palm.

Ate Amy immediately receive the ball and digs it up to so it would landed into our setter which is ate Rose and she quickly makes a toss for me.

With all the strength that is left in my body, I move as fast as I can and jump as high as I can so I can hit the ball with all the force that I have.

The ball quickly landed on our opponent's court. It's already our match point and everyone is anxious. This will be the last match of ate Amy and ate Rose before they head off to their graduations.

"Inside!" The line man quick yelled and raised his little red flag.

The referee quickly blew his whistle and raised his right arm towards to our side signaling that we got the point and he blew his whistle again and gesture an crossarms signaling that the game is over.

I released the breathe that I've been holding and smile as wide as I can due to the victory of our team.

"OH MY GHAAAAAAD BABY GIRL!" Ate Amy screamed at the top of her lungs and rushed over to me and give me a tight hug. My other teammates followed and rushed over to me as well.

"We won! We won! We won!"

My teammates are to happy that we almost forgot to give our greatings to the other team and to the audience. Thank God ate Rose quickly gathered us.

"Nice game." I said to the other team while giving them handshakes one by one.

After the greatings, I rush over to the bench and grab my towel. My whole body is sticky. I kinda hate the feeling but it's all worth it.

"Azi ang galing galing mo talaga!" Anna one of my blockmates said cheerfully. I didn't notice that most of our schoolmates who came to watch our match is already inside the court.

I just smiled and continue to wipe of my sweat. I'm not good with compliments. I always felt awkward when people who I'm not close gave me one.

Everyone around me is enthusiastic. They must be very proud of our achievements today. Our coach said a few more encouraging speech before he announcing us that we had a mini celebration provided by the school.

As much as I want to come, I can't anymore. Aside from being to tired, my brother is coming home and he want us to have a dinner together with dad.

"Are you sure you don't want to join us? After all your the ace that's why we won?" Ate Amy  said trying to convince me with her sweet voice.

"I'm sorry ate. We have a family dinner so I have to hurry back home." I said politely so that I won't offend her offer in anyway.

"Hays sayang naman baby girl. But naiintindihan ko naman. May team building pa naman tayo so I'm expecting to see you there okay?"

I quickly nod although I don't understand her statement fully. It's been almost four months since I migrated here in the Philippines and up until this day I can't understand tagalog fully. I can only catch up with a few phrase but not a whole sentence tho. Well there's no need to rush on learning the language tho. I'm going to live the rest of my life here anyways.

I quickly bid my goodbyes and apologies for leaving early. As I walk towards the car park, I immediately saw our BMW alongside with kuya Mic.

"Good afternoon ma'am!" Kuya Mic greated me with all smiles.

"Good afternoon too." I said with a small voice.

He quickly opens the door and I get in. The drives toward to our house is peaceful. Kuya Mic didn't even bother to start a conversation with me. He knows that I'm not a talker and I like peace, which is true by the way.

Ever since I was young I know to myself that I'm an introvert. Peace surroundings always calm my nerves and made thoughts clear. Tho I don't mind interacting with other people as long as they respect my boundaries.

As our car made it way to our garage, I noticed a Mercedes Benz was parked there too.

Upon entering our house, I can clearly hear the loud laughters in our pool area.

Although I'm shy, I still took the courage to bring my foot towards the pool area. I can clearly see my brother having a drink in his left hand while laughing his ass to whatever his chatting with.

There are total of six people in our pool area. That includes my brother, two girls and three more boys.

One of the girls wearing a short skirt with a pink crop top notice me peaking at them. He immediately called my brother to get his attention and point towards my direction.

My brother quickly smile when he saw me. He gestures that I should come over his and his friend are at. I started to walk towards to their direction and everyone is just watching me took my steps. It's making me feel uncomfortable.

I gave my kuya a quick hug and he gave me a  kiss on my temples.

"How's your game?"

"We won." I replied with a soft smile.

"Congrats! By the way princess this is my friends. This is Ryle," he mentioned the guy he was talking to. "That two over there is Jonathan and Kris. Their twins but fraternal." He pointed to the two guys who have smiles on their faces while giving me a small waves. "And this is Scarlet and Aya. They're my blockmates in my law school. And everyone this is my sister Azilia."

I just gave everyone a small smile since I have nothing to say to them.

"My friends will be joining our dinner, is that okay for you?"

"I don't mind kuya."

"Great! Go ahead and change your clothes. We don't want you to catch a cold because of too much sweat."

I nodded and turn my back agains them. As I was about to enter the house, I notice that someone is staring at me. I glanced back to where my Kuya and his friends are and I was right.

The guy named Ryle is staring at me. He was wearing a black Gucci shirt and an addidas pants with white rubbers. He has nice set of brown eyes, pointy nose, kissable lips and a fair skin.

When our eyes met, he gave me a smirk.

He is definitely handsome.

But I don't like him.
