"Ko-chan!" [Y/n] called with distress was written all over her face. "[Y/n]!" She heard and saw her grandmother was running with her. [Y/n] stopped and her grandmother passed [Y/n] a sword. "You have to help defend the campsite!" She ordered.

"I'm sorry, Bachan! Please get to safety! I have to find Kota!" [Y/n] said as she ran off.

'He's scared...terrified even...' Picturing Kota's distressed face drove [Y/n] to run faster. 'I have to find him!'

[Y/n] suddenly heard yelling. She immediately recognized that voice. "Ko-chan..." [Y/n] used One-for-All to jump in the air. [Y/n] could see him on top of a mountain. She landed on a tree and jumped again, landing between the villain and Kota.

[Y/n] scooped Kota up in her arms and glared at the man. "Mama...! Papa....!" Kota said and the villain raised his hand to punch them. [Y/n]'s eyes widened in horror when saw his face.

[Y/n] was suddenly tackled by Izuku, and he pushed her out of the way of the fist. "Izu-chan!" [Y/n] called and pick up her sword. Kota was in tears and shaking in [Y/n]'s arms. "It's...It's going to be okay, Kota. We'll definitely save you!" Izuku said with a smile.

"You're definitely going to save him? That sounds just like what someone who wants to be a hero would say. Your kind showed up out of nowhere, talking about justice. You're the one called Midoriya, right?" Muscular said and looked at [Y/n], "And that one over there is [Y/n], right?"

"We were told to the initiative and kill you. And as for the girl...we were told to take her. I'll make sure to torment you thoroughly, so show me your blood." Muscular said, menacingly. [Y/n] glared at him harder.

'I have to grab the attention of some heroes. I can't let Izu-chan fight alone, and with Ko-chan, I can't fight at the risk of him gotten hurt.' [Y/n] thought at a looked down at the boy in her arms. He was holding on to her shirt tightly.

Seeing him so terrified and in tears, made [Y/n] angry. She wanted to tell Kota it'll be okay too, but she didn't want to lie to him. A boom snapped [Y/n] out of her thoughts, she saw that Muscular had punched Izuku into the mountain.

"I almost forgot. If you know, tell me...where's the kid called Bakugo?" Muscular asked, and [Y/n]'s eyes widened in horror and her heart rate quickened.

'Kacchan.' [Y/n] began to glow white and hyperventilate. She snapped. It hurts. [Y/n] let out a scream in agony as the light grew brighter. [Y/n] tucked Kota in, holding him tighter. She didn't want to scare him, so she gritted her teeth to stop the screaming.

"W-What are you doing?!" Muscular yelled and tried to punch [Y/n], but it didn't make it through. It was like the white light was a barrier, and Muscular was blown backward by the burst of energy. [Y/n]'s eyes began to cry. She was hurting and angry at herself. 'I can't believe I left him. The villains are after him, and I left him alone. And Izuku's right before my eyes, getting beat up to the point of bleeding.' Her thoughts were running wild. 'How can I be a hero?!'

'Your emotions are your weaknesses.' She could still hear that menacing, mocking voice.

'Maybe that villain was right. I'm weak, I'm no hero!' [Y/n] thought. She felt small hands on her cheeks. [Y/n] opened her glowing eyes to see Kota looking at her with a tearful, worried and pleading look.

'To protect those who matter, you must think rationally...' [Y/n] remembered her grandmother's words.

'That's right... This is no time to get emotional and think about my failures... Kota... he's counting on me.' [Y/n] thought, and looked Izuku, who was dodging the villain. 'He's counting on us!' [Y/n] stood up with Kota in her arms, 'I'll do want can and protect him!'
