So the person that's rping Biana wrote it on her account too. They start singing Hamilton songs while eating at lunch. Both of us agree that Sophie would probably show her friends a lot of book, musicals and movies she likes. So enjoy!
God's POV
Marella, Linh, Sophie, Biana, Keefe, Tam, Dex and Fitz sat at their table and ate their lunch. Suddenly Sophie started humming the opening to 'Alexander Hamilton' and Keefe started singing.
"How does a bastard, orphan, son of a whore and a Scotsman, dropped in the middle of a forgotten spot in the Caribbean, by providence, impoverished, in squalor, grow up to be a hero and a scholar." Keefe sang as Sophie hummed the music.
"The ten-dollar Founding Father without a father, got a lot farther by working a lot harder, by being a lot smarter, by being a self-starter, by fourteen, they placed him in charge of a trading charter." Fitz continued.
"And every day while slaves were being slaughtered and carted away across the waves, he struggled and kept his guard up, inside, he was longing for something to be a part of, the brother was ready to beg, steal, borrow, or barter." Marella sang.
"The a hurricane came, and devastation reigned, our man saw his future drip, dripping down the drain, put a pencil to his temple connected it to his brain, and he wrote his refrain, a testament to his pain." Linh sang and the whole table was humming the music.
"Well the word got around they said this kid is insane, man, took up a collection just to send him to the main land, get your education don't forget from whence you came, and world's gonna know your name, what's your name man?" Keefe mimicked Aaron's voice. The whole table was quiet as Sophie said:
"Alexander Hamilton. My name is Alexander Hamilton. And there's a million things I haven't done, but just you wait, just you wait!"
"When he was ten his father split, full of it, debt ridden, two years later, see Alex and mother bed ridden half dead, sitting in their own sick, the scent thick," Biana sang with a petite voice.
"And Alex got better but his mother went quick." They all whispered together.
"Moved in with a cousin, the cousin committed suicide, left with nothing but ruined pride, something new inside, a voice saying:" Dex sang.
"Alex you gotta fend for yourself" they sang together.
"He started retreating and reading every treatise on the shelf~" Dex finished his part.
"There would have been nothin' left to do for someone less astute, he woulda been dead or destitute without a cent of restitution. Started workin', clerkin' for his late mother's landlord, trading sugar cane and rum and all the things he can't afford. Scammin' every book he can get his hands on, plannin' for the future see him now as he stands on the bow of a ship, heading to the new land, in New York you can be a new man!" Keefe sang.
"In New York you can be a new man, in New York you can be a new man, in New York you can be a new man, in New York, New York," everyone but Sophie sang, as she added "just you wait to the end of each sentence.
"Just you wait!" Sophie exclaimed
"Alexander Hamilton, we are waiting in the wings for you, you could never back down, never learned to take your, time~ Oh, Alexander Hamilton, when America sing for you, will they know what you overcame, will they know you rewrote the game, the world, will never, be the same"
"The ship is in the harbor now, see if you can spot him" Keefe sang.
"Just you wait." Dex, Tam and Fitz added.
"Another immigrant comin' up from the bottom."
"Just you wait." Everyone but Keefe added.
"His enemies destroyed his rep America forgot him."
"We fought with him." Marella and Linh sang.
"Me, I died for him." Fitz sang.
"Me, I trusted him." Dex sang.
"Me I loved him." Biana sang.
"And me?" Keefe asked as the group added the bangs.
"I'm the damn fool that shot him."
"There are a million things I haven't done, but just you wait!" The group sang.
"What's your name man?" Keefe asked.
"Alexander Hamilton!" They all sang together.
"I'm satisfied with his it turned out." Tam said.
"You brought this upon yourself!" Sophie shouted as Keefe started.
"Alright alright, that's what I'm taking about! And now everybody, give it up, for the maid of honor, Angelica Schuyler!"
"A toast to the groom!" Sophie sang.
"To the groom! To the groom! To the groom!" They group echoed.
"To the bride!" Sophie continued singing.
"To the bride! To the bride! To the bride!" The group echoed again.
"From your sister!" She hugged Dex.
"Angelica, Angelica, Angelica!"
"Who is always by your side!" She held up his glass filled with juice.
"By your side, by your side!"
"To your union!" Her voice swirled.
"To the union to the revolution!"
"And the hope that you provide!" She looked at Fitz.
"You provide, you provide!"
"May you always!"
"Always!"
"Be satisfied!
I remember that night, I just might-
I remember that night, I just might-
I remember that night, I remember that-
I remember that night I just might regret that night for the rest of my day, remember this shoulder boys tripping over themselves to win our praise, but Alexander I'll forget the first time I saw your face. I have never been the same. Intelligent eyes, in a hunger pang frame, the way you said "hi" I forgot my dang name, set my heart aflame, every part aflame, this is not a game!"
"You strike me, as a woman who has never been satisfied." Fitz sang.
"I'm sure I don't know what you mean, you forget yourself." Sophie said with kind of glare in her eyes. She really played Angelica at this moment.
"You're like me, I'm never satisfied."
"Is that right?" Sophie's voice and look softened.
"I have never been satisfied."
"My name is Angelica Schuyler." Sophie half sang half talked.
"Alexander Hamilton."
"Where's your family from?"
"Unimportant there's a million things I haven't done. Just you wait, just you wait..."
"So so so, so this is what it feels like to match wits with someone at your lever what the hell is the catch, it's the feeling of freedom, of seeing the light, it's Ben Franklin with a key and kite, you see it right? The conversation lasted two minutes, maybe three minutes, everything we said in total agreement. It's a dream, and it's a bit if a dance, a bit of a posture it's a bit if a stance. He's a bit of a flirt, but imma give it a chance. I asked about his family, did you see his answer, his hands started fidgeting he looked askence. He's penniless, he's flying by the seat of his pants. Handsome, bit does he know it, peach fuzz, and he can't even grow it! I wanna take him far away from this place and I turn and see my sister's face and she is-"
"Helpless." Dex could hit the high notes in this part.
"And I know, she is-"
"Helpless." His voice was swirling.
"And her eyes, are just-"
"Helpless."
"And I realize three fundamental truths at the exact same time!"
"Where are you taking me?" Fitz asked.
"I'm about to change your life." Sophie smiled.
"Then by all means, lead the way."
"Number one!" The whole table exclaimed.
"I'm girl in a world which my only job is to marry rich, my father has no sons, so I'm the who has to social climb, so I'm the oldest, and wittiest, and the gossip in New York is insidious, and Alexander is penniless, ha, that doesn't mean I wanna marry him less."
"Elizabeth Schuyler. It's pleasure to meet you." Dex said.
"Schuyler?" Fitz asked.
"My sister." Sophie answered.
"Number two!"
"He's after cuz I'm a Schuyler sister the elevates his status I'd, have to be naive to set that aside, maybe that is why, I introduce him to Eliza, now that's his bride. Nice going Angelica he was right, you will never be satisfied."
"Thank you, for all your service." Dex nodded his head.
"If it takes fighting a war for us to meet, it will have been worth it." Fitz nodded his head as well.
"I'll leave you to it."
"Number three!" Keefe, Linh and Tam tried not burst into laughter.
"I know my sister like I know my own mind, you will never find, anyone as trusting or as kind. If I tell her that I love him she'd be silently resigned, he'd be mine, she'll say I'm fine, she'd be lying! But when I fantasize at night it Alexander's eyes, as I romanticize what might have been, if I haven't sized him up so quickly... At least my dear Eliza's his wife. At least I keep his eyes, in my life.
To the groom!" Sophie held the note.
"To the groom, to the groom, to the groom!" Biana's eyes were filled with tears because Sophie's pain looked real.
"To the bride!" She hugged Dex.
"To the bride, to the bride, to the bride!"
"From you sister!"
"Angelica, Angelica, Angelica!"
"Who is always by your side!"
"By your side, by your side!"
"To your union!" Her voice for really high.
"To the union, to the revolution!"
"And the hope that you provide!"
"You provide, you provide."
"May you always!"
"Always!"
"Be satisfied... And I know, she'll be happy as he's bride, and I know, he will never be satisfied, I will never be satisfied~" Sophie sat down and tears rolled down Biana's cheeks. Her performance was beautiful. Linh handed her a handkerchief. Biana wiped her tears away and Sophie hugged her. The whole cafeteria was staring at them. The group erupted into laughter, and high fived each other. They just continued eating like nothing happened and the cafeteria just started whispering about them.
"What was that?!" Jensi asked after he walked over.
"That was us singing. You didn't notice, Jensi?" Marella asked while leaning on the table. Jensi huffed and walked away. The whole group tried to contain their laughter, but Fitz and Keefe just couldn't, so they covered their laughter with coughing.
"This was hilarious!!!" Sophie pointed her fork(le) at Marella. Biana and Linh nodded while Fitz and Keefe were still coughing.
"I know, that's why I did it!" she answered, making kissy lips. The group laughed again, and continued with their lunch. After lunch was over they went to their sessions. They still had trouble to stop laughing and their mentors noticed. They didn't mention it and the group was happy about that.
