Runaway Brenda meets her old friends

Chapter 2

At Cass's place, Brenda is sitting on the couch while Tadashi bandage her hand. "Thank goodness your back, Brenda," Cass said, as she came in with Wasbia while carrying a cup of hot coco. "Things gone down hill since you left." "Yeah, sorry about your old shop, Cass." Brenda told Cass. "Oh, don't worry about it," Cass said, as she handed Brenda the hot coco. "Here have some hot coco." Brenda smiled, "Thanks, Cass." She take a drink, as Tadashi finished bandaging Brenda's hand, "There, your hands are bandaged up." "Thanks, Tadashi." Brenda told Tadashi. "Anytime." Tadashi said. "I'll be in the kitchen," Cass told the three. "So you three get sometime with each other." "Okay, aunt Cass." Tadashi told Cass, as Cass left the room. "So where have you been Brenda?" Wasbia asked Brenda. "I've been runaway for sometime," Brenda explained, as she looked at her coco. "At first, I've been trying to get my friends to help. But, they gone... How do I say it? Dark."  "That must be tough for you." Tadashi told Brenda, as he place his hand on her shoulder. Both Brenda and Tadashi looked at each other, blushed and Tadashi quickly got his hand off of his shoulder. "So, I've been runaway for most of my problems," Brenda continued. "Surviving, by fighting, with a little help from my necklace of course." " obviously." Wasbia said, with his eyes rolled. "But, why are you doing here?" Tadashi asked Brenda. "I heard some rumors that an unknown creature terrorized the sewers of San Fransokyo," Brenda answered. "Which got me thinking of Fred, which also got my thinking of..." "Hiro." Tadashi finished. Brenda nodded, "Yes, so I hitched a ride on a plane and came here, hoping to find Hiro and try to convince him to go, oh you know."

"Yeah, we know." Tadashi said. "Tadashi already try once or twice," Wasbia explained. "But, Hiro thought he was a fake." Tadashi looked at Wasbia deadpan, Wasbia sweated and nervously laugh. "Hmm, I wonder why Hiro thought Tadashi, his own big brother is a fake?" Brenda asked. "No idea," Tadashi said. "I just wish I knew why?" "But, I haven't heard your story yet haven't I?" Brenda asked the two boys, with a smile. "Oh, it's a long story." Tadashi said. Brenda smiled, as he and Wasbia tell their stories.
