What if they hate me?

"What if they hate me?"
"They don't hate you"
"What if they are afraid of me"
"They know you wouldn't hurt them"
"What if they run away from me"
"Then I will hunt them down and bring them back to you"
"Daddy I'm serious"
"I'm also serious. You know I would do whatever it takes to get you want you want. If them being close to you makes you happy then I will do it even against their will" Raiden turned around to face his older husband as they lay in bed together before he kissed him.
"I love you for that and I know no matter what you would do anything to make me happy but I don't want forced friends. I want them to genuinely want to be close to me but I'm... I'm afraid now that they know who I truly am they won't want to be my friends anymore" he said with a frown and glassy eyes.
"Then they were never truly your friends to begin with. It's their loss" Diego said before kissing his little husband causing him to giggle.
Past
"Are you sure about this? You know you can stay here as long as you want. It's safer and I honestly would feel better knowing you are safe"
"I know that uncle Choi and I really appreciate all you have done for me. Taking care of me and teaching me all that I know now but I need... I need to go back and start a life on my own" Raiden said as he finished up packing his suitcase.
Since the day his mother had been killed the Chinese mafia had taken him with them and adopted him as their own. He missed his mother and wished he could see her one more time and spend time with her but he knew that would never happen.
On the bright side his new home and family treated him like their own and they wasn't a time he felt like an outsider in the past two years but a part of him felt like he needed to go back to America and start afresh. He was still young but because of uncle Choi he did not lack money or skill in making more money. He was young but like the old man had noticed Ray had so much potential.
Most people freak out or panic when they kill someone but not the young male who had sliced a man's throat open and showed no fear or remorse in his eyes. That moment the old man knew the boy would be a very useful asset. Being a killer came naturally to him and so he had done through a few personal assasination jobs on his own.
"Fine. I can't stop you but that doesn't mean I will let you go on your own" he said but before Raiden could ask a familiar squeal was heard before he was tackled to the ground.
"Oh my gosh I'm so excited. This is my first time leaving the country and I'm going with you my bestest friend in the whole wide world"
"No he is my best friend you maniac"
"It's brainiac to you panda"
"Get off me Colton" Raiden said as he finally got the other male off him but that didn't last long because Jackson tackled him with a hug.
"I'm going with both of you?" Ray asked as soon as he was let go and could breathe.
"Yes but I will be coming back after I have made sure you are settled in" Jackson said with a sad smile, "It's sad to see you go Ray. I wish I could make you stay but I understand"
"Don't talk like that. We can still visit each other. I promise to never miss your crazy birthday parties and wedding if ever you decide there is someone worthy of you sassiness out there"
"Hahaha... Says the queen of sass. I won't miss your birthday as well as your future wedding. I have a feeling you will get married first" Jackson said with a smirk.
"Don't be crazy you know I don't believe in that. Relationships and love are something I will never experience and I never want to" Raiden said with a sad smile. He could never trust anyone and allow himself to be vulnerable. He will only get hurt.
"Never say never Ray" Jackson said
"I'm with Ray on this one. You know how he is. It will take a miracle for him to open up to anyone" Colton said
"Well I'm banking on that miracle and I will remind you of this day when it happens"
"In your dreams" Raiden said with a laugh, "I'm going to miss you. I don't think I will be able to make friends like you guys who accept me for who I am and stick with me no matter what"
"You are a great person Ray and you deserve true friends and I hope you find them" Jackson said as he helped Raiden finish packing.
"He doesn't need more friends he has me" Colton said with a smile causing the pair to laugh.
