2 DAYS LATER

I walk out of the hospital not looking back because I know I will start crying. I go home and walk straight to my room looking at me and Jasmine's photos. Then I heard a knock at my door.

"Come in!"

"Hey I know you're sad but you have to get over it"

"Ok thanks, Diana"

"But you have to go to school today and act likes nothing happened."

"Ok"

I go in the shower and get dressed into a black sports bra and black leggings

I walk downstairs and see that Diana is sitting on the counter waiting for me

"Damn gurl who you tryna impress?"

"No one you told me to forget about Jas and here I am not thinking about her"

She rolled her eyes and walked out and I followed behind her. Once we got to school we met up with our group.

We talk for a bit then some guy I have 1 class with came up to me" Hey umm.. your Devi right?"

"So what if I am.."

"I just wanna ask if you wanna go on a.."

"Hell no bitch look at you and your glasses oh and your little braces.." I was gonna say more but he ran away cuz everyone was laughing at him

"Yea go run away bitch go to your mother! Crybaby" I turn around and see all my friends were laughing except for Diana

"You gotta stop Dev"

"Why, Dia you're the one who told me to forget about Jas This is me forgetting about her!"

She rolled her eyes and walked away."DEVI BANKS PLEASE REPORT TO THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE IMMEDIATELY!!"

I mumbled "If that bitch snitched on me I swear...."

I reached the principal's office and see the kid "I called you here so you can apologize to Brandon here. I looked at him and he smiled. "Ugh I hate this kid" I mumbled. "What was that Devi?" I looked up at the kid "Shut up do you want to tell the principal why I yelled at you" I shouted. He looked terrified and said "no" softly that made the principal lookup. "Why did you yell at him Devi?"

"Because he came up to me while I was talking to my friends he tapped my shoulder and everyone looked at him. Then he said "Devi will you go out with me? then I laughed in his face... Do you want to know why he asked?"

"Why?"

"Because just look at my outfit and he wants to be popular."

He started saying some words then I took a glance at the boy and he was smiling like crazy. I heard one word which made me yell

"What HELL FUCKING NOOOO"
