I took a deep breath and got out of the car, I walked up the steps only to find the front door open , strange. I knocked the door anyway "Kat, hey Kat, you there?" I called "Kat you in there? Kat? Kat? are you gonna let me in?" At this point I was a little scared, anything could've happened. I slowly opened the door and walked in, I went straight to the kitchen because that's where food is kept, but as I walked into the kitchen all I saw was a note, it said:
To whom it may concern,
I know you're probably wondering who I am, if the person reading this note is Emma then you'll remember me. You're probably also wondering where Kat is, she's fine but she's with me. You're never going to see her again so I hope you said goodbye to her.

I let the note fall to the ground as my eyes pricked with tears "Kat?" I whispered hoping this was all a sick joke, I was hoping she was ok. "Kat" I choked out again, "KAT" I screamed willing her to answer "WHERE ARE YOU?" I screamed wishing she was with me. She had no idea, how I feel about her, I was going to tell her today. I fell to the floor and sobbed, 'she doesn't deserve this, please let this just be a dream' I thought as I squeezed my eyes shut, but when I opened them again there was no escaping the inevitable truth. She's...gone.
