I opened my eyes and blinked a few times, my wrists hurt and it was freezing. I was still shackled to the wall in the cold dark room, all I had was a pair of jeans and a short sleeved t-shirt. "Hello?" I whispered, my voice shook a little, "Is anyone there?" I whispered, my voice was still shaking as I shook. A tear ran down my cheek before I heard shuffling, "Hello there, friend. It's been a while hasn't it, do you remember me or have you forgotten about poor Jerome?" He said, I was betting he was either grinning from ear to ear or smirking, I didn't know because I kept my eyes down, looking at the floor "Look at me when I'm talking to you" he said harshly. I didn't respond or look at him,he kicked my stomach, "answer me at least" he said with an impatient voice "I-I remember you" I choked out. "Good" he said before putting his hand under my chin and forcing me to look at him, "This should be an easy process then" he said, finishing the sentence before taking the shakles off of my wrists and leaving. Tears were brimming my eyes as I sat in the corner with my knees pulled up to my chin, I put my arms on top of my knees and cried. Why won't someone save me? I remembered Emma singing to me when I was sad, that always cheered me up so I decided to give it a try.

"She's watching the taxi driver, he pulls away

She's been locked up inside her apartment a hundred days

She says, 'Yeah, he's still coming, just a little bit late

He got stuck at the laundromat washing his cape'

She's just watching the clouds roll by and they spell her name like Lois Lane

And she smiles, oh the way she smiles

She's talking to angels, counting the stars

Making a wish on a passing car

She's dancing with strangers, falling apart

Waiting for Superman to pick her up

In his arms yeah, in his arms yeah

Waiting for Superman

She's out on the corner trying to catch a glimpse

Nothing's making sense

She's been chasing an answer

A sign lost in the abyss, this Metropolis

She says 'Yeah, he's still coming, just a little bit late

He got stuck at the Five and Dime saving the day'

She says 'If life was a movie, then it wouldn't end like this'

Left without a kiss

Still, she smiles, oh the way she smiles, yeah"

I hear slow clapping "aww how cute" Jerome says toying with me "you really think Emma's coming for you?" He said, his question was rhetorical of course, "well she's not" he suddenly snapped at me, "yes she is" I hissed. "You really think so? I hate to tell you but she's going the wrong way" I heard someone else pipe up, I glanced up and saw Mitch next to Jerome, "traitor" I spat venomously. "Start co operating and you'll be allowed to eat" Jerome said, "I'd rather die" I spat holding my venomous tone, "heh, suit yourself" he shrugged "come on Mitch" he said, grabbing Mitch's hand a walking away. "Dirty Bacca" I yelled after him, he really gets under my skin when he talks. I wish someone would get rid of him once and for all.
