Once I reach home, I open the front door and am greeting by my mom's smiles
"Hey! How was the study?" My mom asks
"It was fine," I say with a big grin on my face
"Did you meet a boy?" She asks sounding suspicious
"Well, I and this boy are doing an English project together, and we hang out a lot now, he also asked me to be his girlfriend," I say
I and my mother are really close, I can tell her anything, I mean anything and she'll always have an answer, I'm so glad I have her as a mom, and I'm glad that we're so open about everything to each other. My dad left me when I was 3, I don't know anything about him, but apparently, mom and dad got a divorce cause he was a drunk and never came home at night
"Awww, I'm so glad your happy, I hope he treats you right," she says with a smile plastered on her face
"Me too mom, me too," I say quietly
I walk upstairs and into my room, I sigh and get changed into my ballet gear and put sweats over top
"Mom! I'm going to dance!" I yell as I run downstairs
"Okay, come back in 20 minutes, I'll have dinner ready for you," She says
"Okay mom," I say as I shut the front door, shove my AirPods in and start jogging to the beat of the music
When I get to the studio, all the lights are off, I turn the lights on and put my bag on the floor, I start to pull my pointe shoes out of my bag when I notice a small brown box in my locker when I go to grab it, I see that it has my name on it in cursive letters, I slowly open the box, and I scream, I throw the box on the floor and run out of the studio
Inside the box was a bloody pointe shoe, with no note this time
I run home and throw my gear onto my bed and slouch onto the floor, I start to weep into my arm, trying to be as quiet as I can, I decided to take a shower to wash away my tears
"Why me? What did I do" I ask myself quietly
