"I'm back!" Kakyoin was holding 2 plates of eggs and toast. Jotaro was sitting on the bed. "I'm glad you didn't run away! I've would hate it if you didn't stay long enough to at least try my cooking. I suppose you're hungry since you skipped dinner because of me."
"Actually, I am. Thanks." He took a place Kakyoin gave him. Kakyoin smiled sweetly.
Jotaro took a bite. To his surprise, It was really good. "It's good."
"I'm glad." Kakyoin took a bite of toast. "I know this is a bit off-topic but do you remember our conversation at school."
"Our conversation?"
"Do you believe in fate?"
"Oh that. What about it?"
"Do you think fate brought us together?"
"I personally don't have an opinion on stuff like that. I don't believe in an afterlife or a god."
"Interesting. I don't think there is an afterlife. If you die, you die. Big deal." Kakyoin said his words coldly. " I do believe in a god. After all, you are my God, my savior."
"How can you be so obsessed with me when we meet only yesterday?"
Kakyoin's expression went sad. "Oh, did you forget. What a shame. I guess I should tell you then. Jotaro, do you remember anything about you're childhood like when you were ten years old or below?"
To Jotaro's surprise, he couldn't remember much. "No. I can't."
"We were childhood friends. When we were ten. We would talk almost every day. Til one day, you got into a fight with someone and they hit you pretty hard. You lost your memories. I was the reason for the fight. It was one of my bullies. They took it too far and you tried to fight them. Shortly after, my family moved but then we moved back. I don't blame you if you don't believe me. But I would never lie to you."
"I remember waking up in a hospital after being hit in the head. I don't remember what happened or anything. I was told I got hit with a baseball."
"Whoever told you that are bad liars." Kakyoin grinned. "But the point being is after that, I missed you a lot. So when I finally saw you in that classroom yesterday, I knew I had to take you. I won't let anyone steal you away from me. I don't care who I have to hurt."
