Why does one tiny sound have to be so annoying? Right at 5:30am, it goes off and I hate it.

"Ugh." I mutter to myself as I attempt to lift my head up, but as soon as I reach 1 foot off the pillow, I smack my head on the ceiling. Guess I forgot to tell you that I have a loft bed, and it sucks ass.

"Come on bud, get to your daily routine!" My mother knocked on my door, and left my laundry outside on the floor.

"Thanks mom, I'll be down in 2 minutes." My legs were not up yet, but my mind was and that's all I needed. I took off my shirt and shorts, and replaced them with a tank top and some running shorts. Then I grabbed my water bottle and ran downstairs.

Meanwhile my mom was downstairs preparing my usual breakfast, which was an apple and toast.

"5..4..3..2..1" I came racing down the stairs, snatched breakfast and ran out the door.

Alright, let me explain what's going on. I know you are all confused, but hold on, I can explain. Names Park Jimin, I get up at 5:30am to run 2 miles everyday, I eat a small breakfast to keep my weight down. I only live with my mom because my dads dead. Car accident happened and it's my fault that he died, I could have saved him.

As I ran along the sidewalk, the sun started to rise from behind the trees. I could smell the fresh air and the breeze swooping down into my hair. Running is a way to at least postpone the nasty thoughts lurking in the dark part of my brain. My dad used to go running with me, and we would always stop at this one spot in the woods.

After a few minutes I passed by the exact spot and stopped. Just thinking about that day makes water drip from my eyes. No matter how hard I try, I can't fix what happened so I try to make sure my mother is safe. I mean she is all I have.

"Don't worry dad, Mom is doing quite well, she misses you so much, me too obviously. I wish I could have been the one to die that night." I whispered, then kissed my hand and placed it on the gravestone. Yes, that's where we buried my dad, neat huh?

"Exactly 6:10, time to get going." I gazed at the grass and wiped the water from my face. Jimin got up and brushed off the dirt on his legs, then carried on with his running. Once he got back to his house, his mother was at the door with his water bottle.

Jimin is always organized and never messes up the times in his routine, so his mother started to catch on too.

"Here is your water bottle, I put some lemon and ice cubes in it!" She smiled and he chuckled.

"Thank you so much mom. You should go read your book, it's nice out!" Jimin tried to catch his breath after pushing himself once again.

"Maybe I will, are you going to do the same?" She asked, walking to the couch to search for her book.

" I'd never miss a chance to spend time with you." Jimin smiled while washing his hands in the sink. He opened the cupboard and grabbed some fruit, then proceeded to the fridge to grab the milk.

"I could make you a smoothie? I think you'd like that, right?" He asked juggling the blender in his arms.

"Sure, but please be careful will you? I don't want you messing up my kitchen again, and put the cap on right this time!" She looked over and pointed while giving the stink eye.

"I got it okay? I just was a little preoccupied." Jimin said while cutting all the fruits up.

"Yeah with your fantasy about Jung Hoseok, the fictional character in your book." She grinned and let out a small chuckle as she headed for the patio door next to me.

"Yah, he is more than a book character!" He pouted, but his mother just scoffed and closed the door.

After a few minutes, Jimin finished up the smoothie for him and his mom. He was proud of his creation, and the fact that he did not make an explosion, not that he ever did that. HE walked out with his book and two cups, then his mom looked up and her mouth dropped.

"That looks so good, hand me it!" She laughed and tried to grab it.

"Calm down! I have to set them down!" I yelled with a big grin on my face.

"Fine." She crossed her arms and pouted while groaning in sadness. I giggled and finally gave her the smoothie. She got excited and ripped it out of my hands.

"Mm. I approve of this drink!" She turned to me and smiled with a thumbs up.

"Okay good, now let's read!" Jimin placed his cup down and grabbed his book. Then he whipped his legs onto the chair in front of him, and enjoyed the sunshine.
