Sabrina's POV:

I was doing Cleo's hair. She was very beautiful and perfect match for our project. She was very nice and we got a long really fast and easily. She met my mom and my siblings.

"So, I got a question for you," she said and I looked at her in the mirror.

"Okay, hit it," I said doing her edges.

"You and my cousin," she said and I looked at her.

"What about him?" I asked

"Are you two like talking talking?" She asked.

"We're just friends," I said.

"But you like him," she said.

"I'm not his type and he doesn't like me like that," I said.

"Oh your his type. And why do you say he doesn't like you," she said.

"Because of the way he treats me at school. We only got out in the project together because our teacher had to force him to be my partner," I said. "Plus he got every girl in the school wants."

"I will talk to him about that," she said.

"No, please don't do that. If something happen between us I want it to happen naturally," I said and she nodded. I stopped and looked in the mirror. "We're done here. All you have to do is put you clothes on and we will be outside waiting you you."

"I look good. Thanks girl," she said getting up.

"No problem," I said. "I will be down in the backyard." I went downstairs and went to the back and Da'Vinchi was playing with my siblings. I smiled and walked over to them. I started taking pictures. "Y'all look so cute."

"Yeah, thank you," he said and I rolled my eyes.

"I was talking to my siblings, not you," I said smiling. "Okay, guys. Why don't you head in with mommy."

"Okay," they said in unison. They ran in the house.

"You have everything set up?" I asked.

"Yeah," he said.

"Can I ask you a question?" I asked.

"Yeah, what's up?" He asked.

"What's your type?" I asked.

"Um... well I like a Melanin girl. I look for talents, intelligence, good heart and soul, chill, beautiful," he said looking into my eyes. "Why?"

"Just wondering," I said.

"Oh and her beautiful natural hair like yours," he said and I smiled.

"Thank you," I said.

"What about you?" He asked.

"Me?" I questioned and he nodded. "Um... my significant other have be tall, nice, funny, and smart."

"Damn, and I don't check off nothing on that list," he said.

"No, you're tall, funny, and smart at times," I said and he notched me. I laughed.

"What about nice?" He asked.

"Yeah, at times. Well when you want to be," I said and he nodded. Cleo came walking down.

"How do I look?" She asked posing.

"Beautiful," I said smiling.

"Thank you, girl," she said walking over to us. "Where are we going?"

"In where. It still have the paint smell," I said leading her into the shed.

"Ooh, what are your parents using this for?" Cleo asked.
