You go to town hall and meet Pelly, who is very excited to assist you. "Hello there! My name is Pelly! You must be Y/N! Great to meet you. So, we currently have 3 houses available. Check your map and look at the house marked in orange. Got it? Good. Now I'd like you to meet Tortimer, the mayor of Appleton." She quickly approaches the mayor and wakes him up. "Excuse me, Tortimer. Our new resident has arrived." Tortimer woke up. "Oh, yes the new resident! I forgot!" He heads towards you. "Greetings Y/N! I'm Tortimer, the mayor. Now, what's your favorite animal?" You think for a moment and respond with "dogs". (Just assume that's your favorite animal in this story. I know a lot of people love dogs.) Tortimer was disappointed. "You darn kids and your lack of respect." Pelly giggled. "OK Y/N, just go find a house and if you need help, come back to town hall. Tom Nook will assist you when you find a house you like. You nod and exit the building. After examining all the houses, you find the perfect one. You walk out and meet Tom Nook. He offered 19,800 bells for the house. Even though you can't pay for it, you accept. Knowing you can't pay for it, Tom Nook offers you a part time job at his store, Nook's Cranny. You accept and follow him to the store.
