I'll Be Right Over

Seamus hasn't sent me a text since I'd met him... That was 4 days ago. Maybe he hates me or I'm just paranoid. We seemed to hit it off.

I've not done much since my interview, I've just mostly been playing video games, and of course playing with my pug Roxy (I'd chose Roxy over humans any day)

Finally I get a phone call from an unknown number. It could be one of three people; the job interviewer, Seamus or some random asshole.

I pick up the phone after three rings.

"Hello?"

"Hi, this is Jack Vince from the job interview. Is this Bianca?"

"Oh, hello! I didn't recognize your voice. And yes it is!"

"Well, I have some good news and bad news. Which would you like first?" He laughed in a deep voice.

"Hmm, can I have the good news?" I wonder what the bad news will be...

"You got the job! But... the bad news is that you won't get to work on the Captain America."

"What will I be working on then?" I mean Captain America is my favorite comic book character, but I still get to work for marvel!

"Have you heard of Deadpool?" He asks seriously, who has not heard of Deadpool?

"I get to draw deadpool?! Sweet!"

Later that evening I got another phone call... Wow. I am popular.

"Hello?" Who could it be now?

"Oh... hey Beebs, it's Seamus." Nervously

Seamus called me! Thank god I was starting to get worried that he thought I was annoying..

"Hey, whats up?"

"I was just wondering if you wanted to play some mario kart 8 with me?

"Oh, dont you know Mario Kart ruins friendship?!" I say sarcastically.

"Hey being sarcastic is my thing! And I take that as a yes?"

Of course I'll play with him, he's hilarious.

"Want to come over to my house to play? I could order some food if you haven't eaten yet."

"Hell yeah, tell my your coordinates and I'll be over right away."
