My Collapsing Bolide

In the dark is where I hide,

Alone with the shadows.

The tears that falls from my eyes,

make no sound.

I feel them around me.

It's like I'm in a cage & they're poking me with sticks.

I can't escape the feeling,

It's driving me crazy.

Lately all I've ever wanted was for you to smile,

but your frowns haunt me like a spirit.

And lately all that I have asked for

is for you not to hurt anymore.

But maybe i'm asking for too much.

My shooting star can't handle it all...

And its crashing!

I've cause my ball of gas to fall right out of the sky.

And my hopes and dreams and my wishes are falling apart at the seams.

It seems like we won't get very far.

I'm sinking in quicksand with my shooting star.

My eyelids are heavy with fatigue

but I refuse to sleep without you.

You were the shield that kept me safe at night

but now the monsters are here to get me.

And I feel them all around me,

like the last rose in a sea of weeds.

They're trying to kill me.

The feeling is driving me crazy.

All I wanted was for you to smile

but it's all just crashing down.

Reality is hitting me telling me it was all a fantasy.

The line was blured.

I just want you happy.

But maybe that was just a dream.

My shooting star cant handle it all...
