The next day Carlisle couldn't find AJ anywhere, he had searched for any sign of her but couldn't, her scent still lingered in their bedroom indicating that was the last place she had been before she had disappeared, everyone tried searching for them and in their search, they had realized Alice and Jasper were gone as well.

"What is he doing here?" Jacob questions as he saw Sam walking towards the house, everyone speeds out of the house to meet with Sam, Sam walks up the steps and hands Carlisle two letters.

"Alice asked me to give you that, she and Jasper crossed our lands to the ocean last night," Sam says, Carlisle reads Alice's note.

"Carlisle?" Esme asks.

"They've left us," Carlisle says.

"Why?" Rosalie asks.

"She didn't say," Carlisle says, he looks at the other note and saw AJ's handwriting.

"Can I see that?" Bella asks, Carlisle hands Bella the note from Alice.

"Did AJ go with them?" Carlisle asks.

"No, they were alone," Sam says, Carlisle nods his head unfolds the letter.

"What does it say?" Bella asks, Carlisle looks at Bella.

"She went to gather some witnesses of her own," Carlisle says, Bella nods her head as Edward looks at him, he knew exactly what the note had said and who would be returning with AJ. "Thank you, Sam." Sam nods his head and walks away, Carlisle walks into the house towards his suitcases, Edward follows behind him.

"Carlisle, she's coming back," Edward says.

"I know," Carlisle says. "But you and I both know where she's going." He looks up at Edward. "I would have never let her go if I knew where she was going."

"Do you trust her?" Edward asks.

"Of course I do," Carlisle says. "With my life, it's Vladimir and Stefan that I do not trust."

"She chose you, Carlisle," Edward says. "She will not leave you for him, Trust her." Carlisle nods his head. "It was necessary."

"You're right," Carlisle says, he picks up his suitcases. "John, I and Esme will go to London and from there we will continue."

"Carlisle," Edward says, he places his hand on Carlisle's shoulder. "She will be all right, I'm sure Vladimir and Stefan will not try anything." Carlisle nods his head, but he was not happy. "Besides, she can easily take them down if they try anything."

"I know she can," Carlisle says. "We should get going."
