"Quickly, bring her on up here, Sue Ann!"
Cheers erupted around me, but the faces were bleary. I must've taken a hard hit to the head. I couldn't think straight, and the aching was getting worse and worse. A group of men, and one woman who I presumed to be 'Sue Ann' hauled me onto the small stage, grunting at my weight.
Pfft. I don't weigh that much, do it? No.
Anyways, normally I would fight my way out of the hands' grip, but I was in no position to do so. I rack my brain, struggling to remember how I got to that point.
Nope, I got nothing.
"And by the power of the lord, be healed!" The voice said, placing a hand on my head. Now that the man was closer, I could get a good look at him. He was an older man, wearing semi-see through shades. Underneath, were dead grey eyes. The man was most likely blind.
I was pulled out of my thoughts as a figure walked toward me. While everthing around me was bleary, the figure was clear as day. A tall, grey-skinned being wearing a suit, as if at a funeral.
The figure walks toward me. Don't phyche yourself out, Pandora. Focus.
How did you get here?
*Flashback*
Looking down at my phone, I pondered whether I should call the Winchesters before, well... before it happened.
Just a day before, I had suffered some sort of brain attack. I wouldn't have gone to the hospital if it wasn't my last resort, but I'm glad I did.
"Miss... Coleman?" The doctor walking into my room was 6'3", and had light brown hair. He couldn't have been any older than 30.
"That's me. What's up, Doc?" I ask, bored. This was the last place I wanted to be.
"I'm afraid that I have terrible news... I'm sincerely sorry."
A million thoughts come to mind. "You're scaring me, spit it out." I reply, struggling to keep my voice even.
"There's a fist-sized tumor lodged into your brain stem- once again, i'm terribly sorry, but there's no way to remove it. It's rapidly growing in size- i'd say that you have less than a week to live." He finished, sighing. "Is there anyone you'd like to call? It could happen any time..."
"No, i'm fine. Can I leave?" I ask briskly, coming off as angry.
"I'd highly reccomend you don't... unless you'd like to join me somewhere?"
I raised an eyebrow high in the air. "Where?"
"My mother and father, they run a church of sorts. And they do faith healings- Iv'e seen miracles right before my very eyes. I strongly believe that they can help you." I noticed that he had a name tag.
"Thank you for tying to help, Dr. Grange but-"
"Call me David." David Grange said.
"- David... but i'm fine. Iv'e never believed in that 'god' stuff. It's a bit far-fetched if you ask me. I'll be going no-AH."
*End of flashback*
And that's how I ended up here. I had another brain-attack, and the guy brought me here. Wonderful.
Unable to move, I had no choice but to let the figure place his hand on my forehead. As soon as it did, the world became sharp and clear. The figure dissapeared into thin air, and the happy church go-ers erupted into applause.
Suddenly, I could move, and think without having flashes of hot pain.
I sit up quickly, "What the hell?" I ask no one in particular.
"Fawks?"
Confused, I stand up and look for who could've possibly known my real name.
"Fawks!"
Fuck.
I wave awkwardly to the one, the only-- Sam Winchester.
This should be fun.
