We did nothing but to stare at each other for a long time. I will never get tired of doing this. This might even be the thing that I want to do the most. Even way more now, the fact that she's leaving.... already.
I tried to speak properly. Hindi na ako makapagsalita ng maayos dahil sa kakaiyak.
"Kailan ka babalik?"
She held my hands and gave me the most painful smile. That even made me cry harder. "Why just can't you stay?"
We were both out of breath from crying so much. She faked a smile and held my hands tighter.
"You know I'll be back." She squeezed my hands. I wasn't sure if that was assurance but I held onto that.
I wiped my tears and faked a smile. "You promise?"
"I promise." she said.
With the assurance that she gave me and with the trust that I have for her, I let go of her hands.
"I love you, you know that." She said and kissed my forehead.
"I love you so much more." I looked at her with welled up eyes. "And I know you'll be back."
"Of course."
I saw her flew away somewhere. I saw her left.
I saw the moon of mine faded. But she said she'll be back right? So I'll make sure she'll be the moon of mine who will stay.
