        "H-how did I get here... I don't remember anything..."

"We found you blacked out in an ally way on our way back here to the manor. So my young master suggested we take you here and see that you are safe."

"Thank you." I tried to stand but fell, having Sebastian catch me.

"Please do be careful m'lady. I do apologize, when we found you seemed to have sprang your ankle." I looked down and noticed my ankle wrapped in bandages. 'Perfect...'.

"Sebastian, now that she's awake, take her to one of the guest rooms and run her a bath."

"Yes my lord." Sebastian carried me to a guest room, I guessed was on the third floor, and set me down on the bed. I looked out the window and saw daylight. About noon I guess. "Excuse me for a moment miss, I shall go and run your bath."

"Ok." He went into the bathroom and shut the door. 'That's odd, how can I not remember anything? And how did I sprang my ankle?'. A few minutes later Sebastian came out of the bathroom.

"You're bath is ready m'lady. The clothes are in that closet there."

"Thank you, Sebastian." He bowed and left the room, and I headed into the bathroom.

                                                                *                *                *

I got dressed into a simple blue dress with long sleeves and went over to the dresser. I picked up the brush set ontop of it and brushed my hair. A sudden knock at the door made me jump and I sighed.

        "Come in." It was Sebastian.

"The young master would like you to join him for dinner." I gave a slight smle.

"Ok." I followed Sebastian into the dinning room and he sat me down on the other side of the table from where Ciel was sitting. The table cloth was hardly visable from all the food being set on the table.

"So, Miss Amber," Ciel said, breaking the awkward silence. "where are you from?" I hesitated. 'Should I tell them where I'm from? It's on the other side of the globe and they would be curious as to how in the world I'm here instead of at home...in a different dimension...'.

"I don't remember..." I say looking at the ground.

"Hmm, amnesia I would guess... Sebastian bring me my tea. Be sure to bring some for our guest as well."

"Yes my lord." He left and me and Ciel continued to chat.

"I'm throwing a ball tonight, if you would like to attend that would be fine. My maid Mey-rin can help pick something out for you."

"Thank you Ciel." Sebastian returned with the tea and handed me mine, then Ciel's. I took a sip and sighed.

"Is there something wrong Miss?" I looked up at Sebastian.

        "No, I'm fine."

"Alright then." After dinner, I went up to my room. This mansion is bigger than I thought...It took me a whole hour to even find it. The rest of the day went by really slow, so I just layed in bed and read the few books set onto the bookshelf. I believe the ball starts at like, four? I don't know... I'm very bad with time. I looked at the clock. 3:27 p.m. *sigh*.
A knock came upon the door and I closed the book I was currently reading.

"Come in." Mey-rin opened the door and entered the room.

        "H-hello Miss Amber."

"Hey Mey-rin." I noticed her glasses were cracked. No wonder she's stumbling...

"The young master informed me that I help you dr-dress for the ball tonig-ack!" She fell and I jumped up out of the bed and caught her. 'Yup, typical Ciel, making her work with broken glasses...'.

"I don't think you should be working with your glasses broke." I tried to take them off, but she jumped back.

"N-no I can't possibly give these up they were a gift from the young master yes they were!" 'Right, I forgot...'.

"I'm sorry. But you really shouldn't trouble yourself. I'm very capable of getting ready for the ball on my own. Just tell Ciel I didn't need any assistance." She looked at the ground.

"A-all right m'lady." She left the room and closed the door behind her. I went to the closet and looked through the multiple dresses that were available. Black... Blue and Gold... Green... White and pink... Aha. I pulled out a plain, simple red dress. It was long with frills at the bottom and had short sleeves. Nothing too, wild, I guess. I put that on and then brushed my hair.
I heard noise outside and walked toward the window. I looked down and there were carriages pulling up. One, three, six... I looked at the clock. 4:06 p.m. I put on a bit of make-up and looked in the mirror. Well, I guess I'm done. I walked out of my room, closing the door behind me, and went downstairs to join the guests.
