Chapter 2: He's playing around! and I liked it.
SPG ahead.
I'm still stucked and shocked when the elevator opened for the 24th floor. Kailangan ko na palang lumabas. Eto kasing si Silver eh!
I walked towards to the information desk. Sir Marcos' secretary, greeted me politely.
"Hi Ms. Lindsey! What can I do for you?"
"Is Dr. Marc is at his office?"
"Yes ma'am. But wait, let me just check if he's busy or not."
I just smiled at her as a reply. The secretary click the intercom,
"Doc, Ms. Lindsey is here." sabi nya. tumango tango naman ito habang pinapakinggan ang nsa kabilang linya.
"This way ma'am." Tinuro nya sakin ang pintuan ng office ni Marc and I just nodded.
Pagpasok ko sa office ni Marc, agad naman syang tumayo sa swivel chair nya at naglakad papunta sakin. He opened his arms and hug me as I walk towards him.
"I miss you," he said and kissed me on my cheek.
"Di ko tinatanong kung namimiss mo ko. What do you want?" masungit kong sabi sabay upo sa malapit na couch sa gilid.
He followed me using his eyes, and when I sat, he crossed his arms. "What's with the peevish attitude?"
I just shrugged.
"Well, I just want to congratulate you for your success. I heard, the presentation with the board is good. And congrats to you! You're the smartest, hottest and sexiest chemist that I know."
I know right, Marcos.
I rolled my eyes at him. "Yun lang pala. Akala ko naman sobrang importante. Well, thank you. So pwede na kong umalis?"
Instead of answering, he walked and sit back to his swivel chair. He handed a ballpen and start to spin it using his fingers. "You know what Linds, hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit ayaw mo sakin."
Here we go again.
"What's with the dramatic attitude?" ginaya ko yung tono ng boses nya kanina.
"Just answer me Lindsey."
"I'll go ahead." Tumayo na ako at lalabas na sana ng office nya ng bigla syang nagsalita.
"You are such a hard-headed sexy lady Lindsey."
"I know," and lumabas na ako ng office nya.
For your information, Marcos is my secret fiancé. My and his family arranged it for some company purposes. You know, business is business. And we are getting married 6 months from now. And kaya ako ganon sakanya kanina because it's really obvious na ayaw ko sakanya! Mygod. I thought, arranged marriage only last at pocket books, tv dramas, and etc. At gusto kong ipamukha sakanya yon when I still have this six months. Malay mo magback out! Harhar ;)

I went back to my office, and continue working. I still have to search for the company that gives discounts for raw ingredients. Para mafinalize na, and masimulan na ang production ng newly develop multivitamins namin.
Minutes, and hours passed by, and hindi ko namalayan na tanghali na. Kung hindi pa nagparinig ang tyan ko, hindi ko pa marerealize na gutom na ko. I looked at my watch and saw that it's already 12:32 PM. I closed my laptop and arranged the papers na nakakalat sa table ko. Mamaya ko nalang itutuloy, maglalunch muna ko.
