xinlong grabs 5 dollars and car keys and rushes off to 7-11 upon receiving the text messages mingrui sent him

li jin - the reader grabs 2 dollars and goes off with her bike on the way to 7-11

she looks at the time, its 4:47

"im going to be late!!" she exclaims

so she speeds off until the chain of her bike broke so she ends up walking to 7-11

li jin grabs a can of soda since its all she can afford as for now

"that will be $2.99 (21.17 yuan in china)" said the cashier

"i only have 2 dollars left.." li jin says

"im sorry but you need 99 cents more"

"im so sorry but my money is not enough, cant i just pay you back later?" she says with a pout

the cashier points to a sign next to the door

"NO DEBTS ALLOWED" the cashier shouts, "IF YOU CANT PAY, THEN GET OUT!" he adds

"please sir i really have somewhere to be my friends are waiting for me-" she got cut off because

suddenly a man next to her appeared and put all the soda on the counter

"that will be $4 (28.33 yuan in china)" the cashier said

the man hands him $5 and takes the sodas

the man said "here" and hands the $1 to li jin

"thank you" and thanks to him li jin was able to buy soda

"thank you so much! may i ask whats your name?" li jin asks

"xinlong, he xinlong" he answers

"xinlong?? are you the one going to mingruis party too??" she said

"yes, you?" said xinlong

"yes... im going..." li jin shly says

"oh okay, ill see you then!" he said

but then, li jin remembered her bike and how shes going to go to mingruis

"WAIT!!" she shouts

"yes? no need to shout im just right here" he said

"you see, my bike broke on the way here. do you think you can give me a ride?" li jin asks

"sure"
