NEW YEAR, NEW START, NEW DRAMA

Mariah's pov

It's the first day of school after the summer. I can't wait to see the girls, all of them had been on vacation with their families, but unfortunately I couldn't cause my mom was on tour for almost the hole summer.

I hopped out of bed and got in the shower, I dressed myself and after that I brushed my teeth and detangled my curly hair.

After spending more than an hour of getting ready I finally ran downstairs to see my mom making eggs with sausage, toast , salad and orange juice. I also spotted pancakes and strawberrys on the table for a tiny morning snack.

“Morning mom.” I greeted my mom excitingly.

“Morning baby, you look happy this morning.” She said, giving me a strange smile.

“Yeah I'm just excited to go to school that's it.”I said, biting on a strawberry.

“And why are you excited, you don't even like school.” She asked in curiosity.

“I just miss the girls and I can't wait to see them.” I said.

“Are you sure you just miss the girls, isn't there someone else you missing as well?” She asked me making me think.

“And who is this someone else?” I asked, knowing exactly who she's talking about.

“I'm speaking of the boy Whitney mentioned the other day of your sleepover, whats he's name hmm.... Ni---Nick.“” She said.

“No no, why would I miss him, he always like to tease me and I can't handle it.” I said, making my mom smile.

“You know, your dad did the exact same thing to me when we were in school, now look, we have three amazing children and a beautiful house.” She said.

“That's cute, but that ain't gonna happen with me and that Nickelodeon.” I said, taking my breakfast.

“Awe, you gave him a nickname.” she said, irritating me.

“It's not even really a nickname, it's just a name I call him when he's not around. Now can we please stop talking about him because it's making me not wanting to go to school anymore.” I complained.

“Okay okay, I'll stop but just so you know you guys make a perfect couple, and if you guys are dating, please don't come home telling me you pregnant.”She whispered for some reason.

“Mom!” I yelled softly.

“What?, I'm just trying to help.” she said.

“Well stop it, I won't get pregnant while I'm still in school, I have more important things to focus on.” I said, eating my breakfast.

“Okay fine, so did you get all your things ready?, Mason (chauffeur) will be here any minute now.” She said, packing my and Morgans lunch for school.

“Yeah I'm ready. Can I have a pancake please.” I asked, wiping my mouth with a tissue and pointing to the pancakes.

“Sure.” She said, passing the tray full of pancakes.

“Thanks.” I said, starting to eat on the pancake.

“You welcome.” She said continuing to make out lunch.

“So where's Morgan?”I asked looking around.

“He's still in bed, I'll waked him up now anytime soon.

“That's nice ,I wish I could wake up this late.” I said.

“I can put you in that school if you want.” She said.
