Mal's pov Today was the day we were heading to the show in LA, so we had to get up early today to be on the bus by 5:45 am so that way we could be in La by 12:00 tomorrow night but we would stop to eat somewhere once we got on the road. So my stupid 4:30 alarm went off and I sluggishly got up and looked over at Payton to see him awake with his head underneath the pillow trying to go back to sleep.
I quietly sighed and decided to let him sleep, poor thing was up almost up all night. So I went and started my shower and got in when I got out I looked at my phone and it was 4:50 so I went out and got in my suitcase and grabbed my clothes and decided to get a lazy day outfit so I grabbed a loose black and white checkered crop top and a pair of gray sweatpants with my white high top vans but decided to actually do something nice and straighten my hair, you know cause I got curly hair and it kinda gets annoying sometimes. So I grabbed my straightener and went into the bathroom and took about 15 minutes to do it so it was 5:10 so I had to get Payton up now.
So I went and laid on the bed next to him facing his way looking as he was peacefully sleeping. Honestly made me sad I had to get him up. I gently put my leg over his and by instinct he put his other leg over mine and I scooted closer and grabbed his hand and kissed it then I put it over me and he pulled me in even tighter, by this time I didn't even know that was possible. I put my head in the crook of his and kissed a spot on his neck then I leaned up on my arm and shook him a little "Payton, payt, Payty, Pay, Paypay, baby." He opened one eye to look at me "I like that one.", he said with a smirk. I shook my head "Of course you do.", and I slightly giggled. He leaned up on his arm and looked at me. His messy hair in his face and in his eyes while he was trying to run his hand through his hair but instead was just going back down into his face so I got up went to my bag grabbed a scrunchy and walked back over to him and put his hair up in the scrunchy so now it was outta his face but entertainment for me. "You know I'm gonna keep my hair up like this" he said smiling "No your not." I gave him a concerned look "Oh but I really am.", I just schooled my head at him and laughed.
I looked at the time 5:20 I dragged him outta bed and practically threw him in the bathroom and told him to get ready and to take a shower while I was getting his clothes out of his bag, I made sure he was in the shower before I went in and put his clothes on the counter where they wouldn't get wet then walked out. I went and got my 5 feet part book from my bag and started at the part where Will was on the roof and that was scaring Stella to were he finally got down then I heard my phone ding and it said that Payton had recently posted so I unlocked my phone and smirked to see me reading with the caption love my book worm.

Once we finally got everything packed it was 5:35 so we decided to go on down to the lobby and I sat down on the couch with my legs stretched out, then Payton picked them up sat down then put my legs over his lap and put his hand on my thigh and rubbed it with his thumb. I sat there and started to fall asleep when I felt someone pick me up I quickly opened my eyes, kinda startled to see Payton holding me he looked down at me. "It's ok it's just me." I shook my head so he would know I heard him "Hey baby you wanna get on my back it will be comfortable?" I shook my head and he helped me climb onto his back without falling.
Once we got situated I put my head on his and we walked out of the lobby and met up with Eve and Jackson outside "Y'all would make the cutest couple I've ever seen.", that's when I looked at Payton and he looked back at me "Should we tell them?", I asked and they both gave confused looks "Yeah we should.", so we both looked back at them. I sighed "Ok so listen yes we are together but secretly we don't want the boys and Ryan to know yet so please don't say anything around people, of us being a couple just yet we plan to tell them soon." Then Payton spoke "We're just trying to keep it on the low right now cause you know crazy fans and crazy Ryan." Then Evey spoke up "But why not tell the boys?" Then Payton spoke instead "Because we all know that Sam is still jealous and he could say something about it to anyone and it spread around and there we would be." "Ok that actually sounds really reasonable.", said Jackson.
I checked my phone 5:32 and all the boys flooded out of the building running while we were all shaking our heads, finally the bus pulled up and we got in and me and Payton took the huge chair in the back that was beside the couch that we let Evey and Jackson have. I laid down and so did Payton we were just sitting there staring at each other and I just now realized how pretty his eyes really were they were a light brown and I easily got lost in them. He was staring into my ocean blue eyes and wasn't gonna look away anytime soon so I scooted in closer so we could cuddle he put his arm under my head so I could lay on it and took his other arm and put it around my waist and pulled me in as tight as he could and kissed my head and I cuddled up in his chest and fell asleep.
