PROLOGUE
You know how there is a cliché in love stories where one of the person in a to-be pair is like really famous and the other one is not so famous, or frowned upon?
This isn’t one of them.
I was the head boy of my school and she was a constant winner in every competition she took part in.
Another cliché is that the pair is of similar age, but in my case she was two years younger than me. I was in 10th grade and she was in 8th grade when we first truely met.
And yeah, how could I forget! There wasn’t any proposal from my side or hers like most of the stories have. We didn’t think there was a need to give a ‘name’ to our relationship for others. We were content with what we had for ourselves.
And sadly like most of the love stories, this doesn’t have a happy ending per se. So those of you don’t like sad stories, might want to stop reading, but if you do wish to continue, I would be glad J
Enough of my blabbering. Let the games begin!
P.S. The story will be in present tense from now on. I will be writing the story as it happened in the first person of the male protagonist since I feel very relatable to him.
