People outside our burning house are in awe. I didn't waste my time watching those who's busy calling for help & boy's who tried to minimize the fire.
Sinubukan akong pigilan ng ilang tao dahil sa laki ng apoy na kumakalat sa bahay namin. But my adrenaline rush help me this time.
"GAVIN!!" I shouted on top of my lungs
Umakyat ako sa taas only to find out the blazing fire around Gavin who's now lying on the floor.
"Damn! Gavin wake up! Common Gav!" he's slowly gaining consciousness.
Panay ang ubo ko dahil nakapaligid na ang apoy sa bahay nag lalaglagan nadin ang iilang whatsoever sa taas.
"S-sky.... Um--alis kana!---"
"Shhh Gav save your energy we need to get out of here!"
I'm almost hysterical thinking we won't gonna make it.
But I still have faith, although napapaligiran na kami ng apoy at nadaganan ng poste ang isang paa ni Gav kaya hnd siya makatyo.

Mntik na akong mabagsakan ng kng anong apoy mula sa itaas dhil sa pagkatulala ko.

I saw how his eyes turn red and his tears started to flow. Umiiling iling ito at halos pagsusuntukin ang posteng nakaipit sa paa niya.
"P-pls.... Sky... S-save my son.... I lost his mom when he was born a-and.... I-i can't lose them both.. Hnd niya pa nasasaksihan kng gano kaganda ang mundo.... H-hnd niya pa nakikilala ang babaeng sinayang ko.... The only w-women who stayed for me in the e-end..... The w-women who c-choose me even if I d-didnt chose her. Isang malakas na hagulgul ang pinakawalan niya.
And now I'm doomed. I always sacrifice things for him. I always choose him. I always tend to set him as my priority but--- his baby's life is now at stake.
"Gav pls don't make me choose. We're gonna make all of this plss!" I said. Begging
"We can't, I won't make it" he tiredly smile
"YOU FCKING CAN!!!! WE CAN GAV! HANG-IN THERE OK? I'LL BE BACK" one last deep sigh before I decided to go for the baby
I don't have any choice but to save the baby first.
Nakarating akong kwarto at agad kng hinanap si baby sa crib niya.
The room is filled with smoke!! Damnit! I hope the baby's fine.
I can hear the how the baby is crying painfully. At sobrang naaawa ako.
"Shhh! We're gonna save your daddy ok? Be strong little guy" I don't know what to do now dahil ang pinto na dinaanan ko ay nalamon na ng apoy.
The windows are now on fire. Hinagilap ko ang ilang mga bedsheets sa kama saka ko ibinalot sa baby. May nakita akong flower base kaya binuhos ko ang laman nito sa bata to make it wet.
The only choice I have now is the glass door papunta kay Gav, I tried to lift up the crib and throw towards the glass door para mabasag ito. And so it did.
May iilang matatalim na tumama sa balat ako pero binalewala ko ito. Napaso na din ako ng iilang apoy and it burned my skin but I didn't mind the pain.
Nakarating kami kay Gavin pero isang poste ang natumba sa harapan namin blocking my only way towards my unconscious bestfriend.
"Shit! Hang in there Gav. I'm not gonna leave you!" my voice is now shaking.
Hnd pa ako nakakabawi sa pagkakatumba ng poste may panibagong set nanaman ng apoy ang babagsak.
Fck! It's heading on Gav's position!
Goddamnit! I don't have any choice now. I painfully close my eyes. I swallowed roughly. And sighed deeply.
