The next morning

I woke up to my phone ringing I rolled over and grabbed my phone from the night stand...
"Hello" I answered in a raspy voice
"Yo ass still sleep" Kentrell said
"Yea where you at" I asked
"Shit we at Waffle House" he told me
"I didn't wanna wake you" he said
"You got all the kids" I asked
"Yea" he said back
"Just get some rest baby we'll be home later" he told me
"What y'all about to do" I asked
"Ima take the kids to the park for a while but me and G gotta appointment at 3 to get our hair cut" he told me
"What time you tryna get on the highway" I asked
"Shit after we get our cuts" he said
"We should've left this morning" I said
"We can leave soon as I get done taking care of shit" he said
"I gotta call you back" he said
"Why what happened" I asked
"Kins starting to get cranky" he said
"Oh ok call me back" I said
I hung up the phone then I stood up and stretched then I went to the bathroom and got in the shower
2 hours later
I'm home alone in the living room watching a movie on tv I don't know where trell and them are at I've been trying to call him but it's going straight to voicemail I think his phone died or sum but that's not like him... I ended up getting dress and going to Chick-fil-A to get some food
"Wassup shorty" some dude said looking at me
"Just ordering my food" I said without looking at him
"What's yo name ma" he asked
"I'm just tryna order my food" I said looking at the guy
I walked up to the counter and ordered my food then my phone started ringing so I went through my purse to grab it
"Hey baby" I answered to Kentrell
"Whatchu doing ma" he asked
"At Chick-fil-A" I said
"Bring me some waffle fries baby" he told me
"Where you at" I asked
"Shit I just got to the crib my phone died on me" he said
"Yea I was calling you" I said back
"I figured you were. That's why i came home but yo ass not even here" he told me
"I'll be home soon" I told him
"I'm about to get our bags n shit in the car" he told me
"They all in our room bae" I told him
"I know, but I'll talk to you when you get here" he said
"I'm on my way home now" I said
I grabbed my food then as I was about to walk out the door the same guy cut me off and opened it for me
"Thanks" I said then walked off to my car
"Aye can I get your name at least" he asked
"Tati" I said before I got in my truck
