What if...(Miraculous Reveal)

Chapter 1

ADRIEN'S POV:

My eyes glazed over the picture in my hands once more. The way she was smiling, the way her hair shined in the sun. Her bluebell eyes that I just couldn't seem to look away from. I was daydreaming of our next meeting, what I would say to her, what witty pun would I use this time, how she would react, when all of a sudden; "Adrien! Your friend is here!" I heard Natalie yell from downstairs. This pulled me out of my fantasy and back into the real world. I sighed as I put the picture into the desk drawer and stand up from my chair. Kagami was coming over today to study with me. With fencing, modeling, (and well, you know, being a superhero!) I had gotten a little behind recently. 

"Coming!!" I race down the stairs to see her standing in the foyer having a conversation with The Gorilla. Well, more like she was talking to him, while he just stared at her. He doesn't talk that much. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever hear more of a grunt come out of his mouth. 

"Hey Kagami!" I smile at her and wave, at which she returns the smile and bows a little. "Hello Adrien. Thank you for inviting me over today. It means a lot that you wanted me out of everyone you know to help you study." "No problem! I just wanted someone who I could count on, so that I wouldn't get distracted!" I chuckle nervously and scratch the back of my neck. I couldn't tell her that the only reason I chose her was that Nino, and Alya were both busy. That would just make her upset. "Come on. Let's go upstairs to my room." She nodded and followed me back upstairs.

We sit down at my desk and pull out the assignment that I needed help with. Kagami dug through her bag as if looking for something when she finally gave up and sighed. "Adrien, do you have a pencil I can borrow? I can't find mine in my bag." She asked with a pleading look in her eyes. I nodded and reached for the drawer where I keep all of my spare pencils, not even noticing I was the same one I had stuffed the picture of Ladybug in not even five minutes before. When I see the picture, I immediately turn as red as Nathaniel's hair. I can feel Plagg shaking inside my shirt, most likely from laughing at me.

"What's wrong?" Kagami asks, noticing how red I've become. "Is there something in the drawer?" She leaned over to see what was inside the drawer. I was to embarrassed and dumbfounded to move, or say anything so I just sat there... like an idiot.

Kagami picked up the picture and stared at it, tears welling up in her eyes. I've known that she's liked me for a while now, ever since she got akumatized into Onii-chan a few months ago. This was the last thing that I wanted to happen. You see, there is something that I forgot to mention about this particular picture of M'lady. Now, before I tell you what it is, you have to promise not to laugh.

I had drawn hearts. All over the picture. But no, the embarrassment doesn't stop there. I'd also written things like, "I love you Ladybug!" or "You and me against the world!" I'm just glad that I didn't write anything that could've given my identity away!

"Y-you... Love her?" She was crying now, and I could tell that this wasn't go to end well. "YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HER!!" She screamed standing up and pushing her chair away. I wanted to shout back, tell her that I did know her, better than anyone in fact. But I couldn't. No one can know our identities. "I CONFESSED TO YOU AND YOU STILL CHOOSE HER?" I needed to find a way to calm her down, so that I could let her down easy and maybe we could still be friends. I would hate to lose her because of something as silly as this. "Kagami, please. Stop yelling. I want to talk to you about this! Yes, its true that I love her. I'm sorry if I ever made you think that I was leading you on, or anything like that. But the truth is, I've loved her since the very beginning. It may seem like I don't know her all that well, but I can't shake this feeling. I'm really sorry Kagami. If you want, could we still be friends?" At the beginning of my little speech, it looked like Kagami was cooling down. But the more that I talked about Ladybug, the more it just riled her up again. Oops. " UGH! I DON'T GET IT! WHAT'S SO GREAT ABOUT LADYBUG ANYWAYS?!?" I was about to respond when she grabbed her bag and fled my room, slamming it behind her. That could have gone way better.

"You could say that again!" Plagg said, poking his head out of my shirt, halfway through a fit of giggles.

I sighed. "Shut up, Plagg."

"What? At least there's one less pot on the stove now! Now there's only two you gotta worry about!"

I looked down at my small cheese loving kwamii. "What do you mean?"

PLAGG'S POV

OH MY GOD WHY IS THIS BOY SO DENSE?!?

ADRIEN'S POV

"I'm talking about Ladybug and Marinette!"

"What about them?"

"HOW YOU CAN'T DECIDE WHO TO LOVE KID! JEEZ! WHY ARE YOU SO DENSE?!?!"

I stare at Plagg with a blank expression on my face. I'd only heard him say something like that once before, when I went to the Ice Rink with Kagami and Marinette came along with Luka to help me. I remember he said something like, "You're supposed to be in love with Ladybug, and now you ditch Kagami, to go after Marinette?" I questioned it a bit then, but it almost caught me off guard this time. I thought about both the bluenettes that were constantly on my mind. M'lady and one of my first friends, Marinette. Come to think of it, they were very similar in tons of ways. I can't believe I didn't see it before! 

Dark blue hair? Check.

Bluebell eyes? Check.

Kind to everyone except Chloe and Lila? Check.

"Plagg..." I started unsure if I should even say this aloud. "What if Marinette is Ladybug?"
